I absolutely love it! I’m down to the last few millilitres and I treasure it like gold 💛

I miss it so much! I owned it in 2005 and 2006; it was the best beach perfume I’ve ever had. It was tender, sensual, floral, clean, creamy, with that distinctive talc note. It smells like sunshine 🥰 ☀️ Perfect for everyday wear and warm climates. What a beautiful, unforgettable scent. I’d give anything for it to return.

I’ve just finished my last bottle, which I kept like gold in a casket, and it hurts not to be able to enjoy it again… It smells clean, like mimosa, like skin. Simply extraordinary!!!

Summer is literally the arrival of summer in a country house. That scent of soapy powder and perfectly crafted, natural mimosa flowers… a true beauty and relaxation for the senses. Cheerful, clean, pure, sunny, innocent. What can I say? A simple, long-lasting gem. Although I always used it in relaxed, daytime settings (it doesn’t project strongly), I’ve recently found it interesting for unpretentious summer evenings too.

It’s an excellent perfume, I can’t find it anymore; fortunately in Cozumel it’s the last one I keep and use for special occasions. Indeed, it’s a mimosa to me, I hope Kenzo brings it back 😉

I love it! This and the Kenzo Parfum d’Été are beautiful; they have a summer and sun scent with flowers that are creamy, like a body cream. It’s very lovely and original. It’s a pity it’s discontinued; I really like Molière fragrances.

I used it many years ago and I remember with longing its scent of mimosa and bitter almonds. Very original and personal. I liked the trail it left when I made a movement.

  9. There was a time when every woman had at least one Kenzo fragrance in her vanity. I had several, most of which stood out for woody and incense notes. For some reason, I’m no longer so fond of oriental scents, but I make an exception with Summer because it’s a different story. It’s a sweet but fresh, intense yet light perfume; its balanced combination of citrus and woods makes the almond and mimosa aroma prevail. Like many others, I am a widow of this fantastic Summer, which I can’t find and which has tormented my summers without its cheerful, subtle, and elegant scent. Because if there is one thing that is scarce in summer perfumes, it is elegance. Whoever has it should treasure it, for it is a luxury that makes you shine under the sun, just like its exquisite yellow formula.

  10. I really like Summer! But I can’t find it anymore; I still have a tiny last drop left. Sun, cream, powder, golden spikes, mimosa. Mmmm, a delight. Kenzo has relaunched the ‘green leaf’ L’Eau d’Été, so why not relaunch Summer?

  11. I loved it when it was launched and couldn’t buy it. I mustered the courage last year and bought it online. When it arrived, it didn’t smell the same to me; it seemed a note was making my nose itch. I kept it until yesterday… I tried it and the magic worked. There it was again, my beloved Summer smelling of sunscreen, of spring, of beautiful formless memories that you carry inside and are part of you. Wildflower meadows, a family outing, the joy of waking up healthy without having to work on a Saturday… the musk gives that warmth that makes you feel fulfilled. That’s what I feel today.

I adored this perfume since its launch and couldn’t get my hands on it. I bought it online last year, but when it arrived, it tickled my nose and simply didn’t convince me. I kept it until yesterday… pure magic! It’s my Summer again: bronzed skin, springtime, hazy but personal memories. Wild flowers, family walks, the joy of waking up healthy on a Saturday without work. The musk gives it that warmth that makes you feel complete. That’s today!

I like it, but it no longer makes me fall in love. It’s the second bottle. Perhaps I wore it daily and it became too much for my face. Now I notice the mimosa, the musk, the amber, and above all, the musk. I left it half-used and put it away. Reviews say it smells like the Champs-Élysées, and they’re right. Ideal for a summer day.

I bought it blind! I detect yellow flowers; it’s quite powdery and has that vintage touch. When I wear it, I remember lying on a chaise longue under the sun, smelling of tanned skin.

  15. Among the perfumes I cherish, I keep some that have been discontinued; I repeat like Gollum… ‘My precious…’. Haha. And with those still available, at any moment the sales directors might lose their heads and reformulate or eliminate another gem. But let’s focus on this Kenzo beauty. I had the misfortune of discovering beautiful fragrances just as they were in their final years. I managed to buy three bottles of Summer, one included a scented cream. I still have the last one, almost full and in good condition. Summer is like those first days of spring for me, when you start to feel the warmth of the sun on your skin without it being oppressive or burning, and the first flower buds unfold their scent amidst the bustling life of a garden surrounded by trees letting light filter through their greening branches. That is Kenzo Summer for me: life, joy, sun, colour, even though I can’t distinguish between the different nuances of the fragrance, that is the feeling it conveys; that’s why I love it. It’s a daytime fragrance, and I’ve worn it on formal occasions such as garden weddings. On my skin, its sillage and longevity are excellent.

  16. With perfumes I love, I keep bottles even when they’re discontinued, repeating like Gollum: ‘My precious’. Haha. I do the same with those not yet discontinued, because sales directors lose their minds and reformulate or eliminate true gems. But let’s focus on this Kenzo beauty. I had this perfume six years ago. It was one of my favourites; I never got tired of it until it ran out, and I couldn’t find it again. On my skin, it opens with short-lived citrus, then the mimosa, violet, almond milk, and perhaps jasmine take centre stage. It develops for 8 to 10 hours, fading gradually to make way for animalic notes, cedar, and something I can’t identify, I suppose styrax. It’s very clean, creamy, with almond milk (not quite the almond note) and mimosa taking the lead. Basically, that’s what it smells like. Good longevity, moderate to soft sillage, close to the skin. It smells like a quality, clean, discreet soap, yet personal. It’s not something that stops people asking what you’re wearing, but it’s unique, feminine, and distinguished. For spring or summer, day or evening. A good option for the office, meetings, or events where you don’t need to stand out. What a pity it’s discontinued.

  18. I liked it a lot. Floral, rich, with the almond milk note that stood out. Unfortunately, I never managed to buy it, and when I had the chance, I couldn’t find it. What a shame. I’m from Argentina, and it’s been discontinued for seven or eight years. I don’t understand why Kenzo stopped making it. I hope they bring it back, although surely it wouldn’t be the same as the original; they’ll reformulate it like so many others. What a pity!

  20. I love this perfume. It’s pure summer, joy, sunset, and fresh dresses moving with the night breeze. Kenzo is a giant in perfumery. Thank you for all the reviews; they’re a true delight.
