I bought it blindly because it’s by Roja and I was spot on. It’s one of the finest white floral interpretations in the collection; I believe it surpasses Scandal in richness and complexity. The opening is strikingly realistic: a bouquet of fresh white flowers with a green, fruity touch, like a garden. Then it feels as though we’re drawn closer to the gardenias, where the entire scent of their petals takes centre stage with a touch of sweetness and musk, all very measured and without any sharp edges. In the base, cedar and amber notes predominate, accompanying the gardenias discreetly without stealing their spotlight. It’s truly beautiful.
