  Sur l’Herbe is THE cologne. There’s no better option for the heat. In its simplicity, it shines brighter than the stars: it smells green, fresh, clean, and citrusy, with a foamy, soapy base. It’s incredibly rich, it quenches your thirst, it’s like an icy shower that cuts through the air. First-class ingredients put it above any summer cologne (in my opinion). Although it says cologne, its structure is eau de toilette; it projects freshness at a distance and lasts days on clothes. It’s what I spend the most on in summer, and I’m glad it’s not so well-known. So successful they put it in the permanent collection, changing the bottle from clear to dark. A 10.

  Another gem from L’Artisan Parfumeur for recreating nature. It’s a green scent that dominates the citrus notes, with a clean neroli base that evokes a fresh, luminous meadow garden. Sometimes it reminds me of Diptyque’s L’Ombre dans l’Eau, another house that captures nature perfectly. In short, highly inspired and evocative, it captures the essence of a wet garden to the fullest.
