I picked this up in the summer on discount for its rich and distinctive scent. I wore it a couple of times but found it too spicy and heavy for the heat, so I stashed it away. Now that the mornings are 22-25°C and highs reach 33°C, I tried it again and confirmed that it’s best suited to certain seasons. I absolutely loved it; it lasts 6-8 hours. It’s truly its ideal moment in autumn and winter. It opens with a spicy note, soft and sweet leather that isn’t cloying, finishing with a pleasant vanilla trail. Easy to wear and versatile, provided the weather is mild or cool.
Top fragrance! Smells great, nothing intrusive. Starts fresh and herbal, then evolves into something spicier, heavier and darker with the leather and benzoin. Perfect for everyday wear: versatile, clean with a sexy touch. The downside is poor longevity; it barely projects and after an hour it’s just skin scent. It does work for romantic dates, very noticeable. I’m not sure if I’ll buy it again due to the poor performance. Reminds me a bit of YSL’s Kouros Body.
