It’s a shame Fragantica.es no longer verifies longevity and projection. This perfume has fake votes claiming it’s Beast Mode, the weakest and biggest deception they’ve pulled on me. The scent is good, quite similar to LV’s Lovers but with more petrichor. Longevity is average and projection is weak, with no sillage. I hope Fragantica does something about Arab brands posting fake reviews to sell. Verdict: Packaging 9/10, Bottle 10/10, Scent 7.5/10, Longevity 4/10, Projection 4/10, Sillage 0/10. Value for money: if you find it for under $25 and want to experience it, switch to it. A better option than Jo Malone’s Opal from Game of Spades.
What an achievement! I bought almost the entire Le Falcone collection based on these versions. Just a note, there are people on Fragrantica who judge unfairly, perhaps due to marketing, but that’s not the real story. This great house has done it again; it’s remarkably close to L’Homme Ideal (Lovers) by LV, too close for comfort. I also tried Opal from Game of Spades; both smell identical and are excellent inspirations. They aren’t 1:1 dupes, but their performance is moderate, just like Opal. Some defend Opal out of love for Jo Malone, but the reality is it’s expensive. For the same price or better, Le Falcone is 100% the way to go. Performance: 5-6 hours longevity, 2 hours projection. I do recommend it, just reapply and you’re good; it’s cheaper than spraying L’Homme Ideal. P.S. I’m letting them macerate to see if the scent evolves.
