  • It smells like the typical tropical fruit breakfast cocktail at a beach hotel: a smoothie of juicy mango, coconut, and nectarine. I like it but it didn’t captivate me as much; from Escada’s summer line, my favourite is Rockin’ Rio. Taj Sunset has little projection and doesn’t last more than a couple of hours.

  • To me, Taj Sunset smells like a pineapple and mango palette. It’s simple, relaxed, and super tropical. I know it doesn’t have pineapple, but I detect it strongly at first, like a wave of pineapple, mango, and blood orange nectar. The water lily must be there to stop us from getting an acid attack. It reminds me of Jolly Ranchers, and at the end I notice a tart touch, although perhaps my nose has gone crazy and I don’t sense raspberry, nectarine, or sandalwood. The longevity isn’t long, but it’s good for a 100% fruit juice perfume; its projection is monstrous, I feel like everyone smells me when I wear it.

  • Although the description says it’s soft, this perfume has a lot of personality and doesn’t go unnoticed. I love it.

  • I love it because it’s super tropical; although it doesn’t contain passion fruit, on my skin it smells exactly the same and it’s a delight. The longevity is short, around four hours, but what a shame because it’s a total hit.

I remember buying it because it was on discount at an airport; the surprise of smelling it was delightful, as I’m a fanatic of fruity and fresh perfumes (my favourites are Moschino’s) and the first thing that stood out was the mango, very fresh and citrusy. On my skin, it lasted between 3 and 4 hours, but much longer on clothes. When I wore it, my boyfriend said he wanted to lick my neck because of the delicious scent. I recommend it to people up to 30 years old; I think it’s very youthful.

  • It’s a delight. I never tried it in Chile because summer editions don’t always arrive and when they do, they don’t stay on sale for long. As I already had three other Escada scents and read the comments, I wanted it with my eyes closed. My parents gave it to me after a trip to Europe and upon smelling it, I was the happiest. I smell strong mango and sugar, it’s clearly for hot days, but as I use summer perfumes, I’ve even used it in winter.

  • A delight. I never tried it in Chile because summer editions don’t always arrive, and when they do, they’re not in stock for long. As I already had three other Escada perfumes and read the reviews, I bought it blindfolded. My parents gave it to me after a trip to Europe, and upon smelling it, I was the happiest. I definitely sense mango and sugar; it’s clearly for hot days, but as I use summer perfumes, I’ve even worn it in winter.

Simply delicious. It smells of sweet peach, of summer. Generally, I like Escada’s summer editions, but this is my favourite because it’s very sweet and fruity. Plus, it has good longevity and an acceptable sillage. Some girls asked me what perfume I was wearing and they loved it. It’s similar to Beyoncé’s Heat, but it lasts longer than hers.

  • Yummy! An explosion of ripe, juicy, exotic fruits. Sweet, syrupy mangoes, oranges, nectarines, raspberries, grapefruit, and a hint of pineapple. A touch of aquatic floral and a woody musk that adds creaminess. I want to eat myself. A fun, youthful aroma for a beach holiday, not really for the mountains. It reminds me of Britney’s Midnight Fantasy at the opening, but with a bikini and hat, fresher and lighter, with less vanilla. It has presence, although it doesn’t last too long, but for summer, you can’t ask for more. I can already see myself as Carmen Miranda with her fruit hats or Mecano singing Hawaii-Bombay, two paradises… aaaaaaaay!

  • La plus belle

Reading all the descriptions, I think this is a perfume you could eat, haha. Good to know, I’m going to try it. It’s a bit of what I’m looking for for summer.

  • La plus belle

A pleasant and very fruity scent, with mango and nectarine standing out. At first, it’s quite concentrated, but… I’m not sure if it’s just me, but the aroma doesn’t last nearly as long as I’d like; after an hour and a half, I need to reapply. I don’t see good value for money; the bottle seemed mediocre, especially the cap. If the perfume itself is good, the only drawback is longevity. I’ll try wearing it from morning until afternoon.

  • clauskywalker

My favourite summer perfume of all time. I used to wear it at night and people would praise the scent. It smells of ripe mango with a sandalwood base that gives it depth. What a shame it’s no longer available.

  • clauskywalker

It’s my all-time favourite summer perfume. I wore it at night and several people praised my scent. It smells of ripe mango and the sandalwood base gives it intensity. What a shame it’s discontinued.

  • I have the alternative of Millanel, I don’t know the original, but of the Millanel I can say that I love it. It’s a super fresh mango juice, I used it in summer and it was praised by many.

  • I have the Millanel alternative; I don’t know the original, but speaking of Millanel, I absolutely adore it: it’s a super fresh mango juice scent. I wore it in summer and received so many compliments 🥰

  • Candycandy40

A pure explosion of mango; that’s the most noticeable note. It’s that tropical summer scent from Escada, perfect for fruit lovers, but be warned: you’ll need to reapply every 4 or 5 hours.

  • Elizabethshelby

Smells like mango, specifically that Tang juice from the sachet – super sweet and tropical. I bought it in winter and while I like it in the bottle, it doesn’t convince me once applied. If you love mango notes, this is for you; if not, run away. Verdict: it gives me migraines and nausea, I just can’t stand it. Looks lovely in the bottle but I can’t bear wearing it.

  • Elizabethshelby

Smells like mango, like a Tang juice packet with mango flavour. It’s very sweet and tropical. I bought it in winter, waiting for summer to try it properly; in the bottle I like it, but worn it doesn’t convince me. If you love mango, you’ll adore it; if not, run. Note: it gives me migraines and nausea; I simply can’t stand it.

  • A full mango aroma, sparkling and peachy, delivering a delicious gourmand warmth. No one can resist saying ‘you smell so good’. It’s beachy and sexy.

  • It has a sweet and pleasant base for those who like florals, with notes of coconut and mango. I love it.

  • Deli Zambrano M

Sweet, addictive, youthful and long-lasting. Everyone looks at you when you wear it.

  • It’s the perfume I’d wear on holiday to an island in summer. Very fruity, a little sexy and fun, ideal for a beach party.

  • Smells rich, as if you’d just showered with a mango and peach gel. It’s super sweet and youthful, yet clean, smelling like shampoo. I love it; it’s a sweetie to wear every day and smell great all day long.

  • I always prefer citrus; sweet scents used to give me headaches, but this is a discovery. It’s sweet yet fresh, with that acidity of eating mango that lingers on the skin without being overpowering. Perfect for summer, day and night. With the heat or the sun, it intensifies; I’ll definitely have this on my shelf this summer.

  • I absolutely love this perfume. I’ve been searching for years to find it back on the market, and they tell me in Mexico that they no longer manufacture it. Does anyone know where to get hold of it?

  • Vainillalau

Ideal for the heat: it refreshes, is sweet yet fresh, and you can tell it’s simply lovely.

  • A summer jewel that no longer exists. It’s super sweet, very fruity and tropical, packed with mango and nectarine. It projects strongly and evolves beautifully for around 6 to 8 hours. In the end, close to the skin, it turns into caramel, as if you’ve just had a sweet treat.
