  • The notes promised a stunner for ladies, but the combination turns it into a teen’s cheap perfume: the sweeter and more synthetic, the better. While the raspberry and blackcurrant promised much… they aren’t felt against the potent caramel and very invasive orange blossom flowers. In short, it’s a youthful perfume projecting candy sweetness, for daily use. Your daughters or granddaughters will love it, but I don’t recommend it for women over 25 or 30; it feels out of place.

It’s a sweet fruit cocktail, it just lacks being drinkable. It felt very synthetic to me, so much so I couldn’t distinguish any declared note. It’s too cloying for summer and too fruity for winter. I find it 100% feminine and totally youthful; because, although perfumes have no age, there comes a time when we try to aim for quality.

  • A super sweet and fresh perfume; you can definitely tell the pineapple and caramel. It’s rich and youthful. A walk on an autumn afternoon or a spring outing is a 1000; I haven’t stopped sniffing myself.

Once upon a time, a solid caramel with artificial pineapple flavouring called ‘Pepe Jeans cocktail’. Just as it smells: it could be a ‘Sugus’ or ‘Kool Aid’ of pineapple, synthetic and linear; yes, but it’s not unpleasant. As it dries, the pineapple fades and leaves a sensation of caramel like a baked custard. Perhaps it’s childish, but I was keen to have a pineapple note and bought the 30ml because I was fascinated it came in a set with body lotion and shower gel in bottle packaging. It’s economical and a little indulgence. I might not use it much, but as I’m not ruled by age when it comes to wearing perfume, if I like it, I simply use it.

Happy hour: one word, cocktail. It’s an exquisite fruit drink, pineapple and red fruits, with a good dose of caramel but not cloying or wintry. It sits on that line separating sweet summer from Christmas marshmallow sweetness. Projection: 8/10. Longevity on skin: 5-8 hours.

  • I tried it in a perfumery and the tropical scent captivated me. I bought it because it came in a pack with gel and cream at a great price. I let myself be swept away by my good experience with their Pilar fragrance. It smells like pineapple with a hint of red fruits and watermelon; despite the declared notes, there’s a perceptible powdery aspect. I don’t sense the floral or caramel, just a soapy base. I love it: tropical but powdery, a rare combination in my collection. Moderate trail, lasts 3-4 hours. I wouldn’t buy it again. It’s pleasant to spend guilt-free this summer, for going out or running errands. Scent 7/10, Longevity 3.5/10, Sillage 6.5/10, Value 6/10, Versatility 5/10, Packaging 2/10. Would I buy again? Probably not.

Happy hour, a cocktail word, is an exquisite fruit drink of pineapple and berries with a good dose of caramel, but not to the point of being cloying or wintery… It sits right on that line separating sweet summer from sweet Christmas marshmallow. Projection: 8/10 Longevity on skin: 5-8 hours.

  • Tested it in a perfumery and the tropical scent hit me straight away. I picked it up because it came in a bundle with gel and cream at an incredible price. I was swayed by my good experience with their Pilar, Pepe Jeans for Her fragrance. It smells mainly of pineapple, with hints of berries and watermelon, and despite the notes suggesting otherwise, it has a quite noticeable powdery aspect. I don’t detect the floral or caramel aspects, just a musky base. The truth is, it has a scent I absolutely love; tropical yet powdery at the same time, a combination rarely found in my collection. It has moderate sillage and lasts only 3-4 hours, which is why I don’t think I’d buy it again. It’s a pleasant perfume, perfect for spending without guilt this summer for a stroll or running errands. Scent 7/10 Longevity 3.5/10 Sillage 6.5/10 Value for money 6/10 Versatility 5/10 Packaging 2/10 Would I buy again? Probably not.

GENTLEMEN, WELCOME TO THE TROPICS! Notes of pineapple, guava, and delicious non-synthetic mango. The trail is brilliant, sticking perfectly to my combination dry skin. Lasts about 4 hours steadily; you’ll need to reapply if you want. All the tropical notes sit on a very subtle, gourmand caramel base. Safe buy for $25. Receiving compliments everywhere 🛼✌️

GENTLEMEN, WELCOME TO THE TROPICS, CANCÚN, AND BRAZIL: The opening is delicious, non-synthetic pineapple, guava, and mango. The trail is excellent if you want to share the delight with others at arm’s length; it adheres perfectly to my combination-to-dry skin and performs stably for four hours, though you may need to reapply if desired. All the tropical elements are supported by a very subtle gourmand caramel base, making it a safe purchase at $25. I’m receiving compliments from everywhere with this perfume.

  • Piña Playero Rojo: I’m not sure if I like it or not; it’s super summery 💯. Good for daytime, but I find it short-lived; it’s not ugly, though I think the classic Pepe one remains the best.

What a stunner! I accidentally tried the famous Pepe Jeans martini glasses and wow, I was fascinated. It smells like a tropical cocktail at a beach bar, with lots of sweet pineapple (not acidic) and a subtle whipped cream touch, nothing gourmand. Already added to my wishlist.

Fantastic perfume! I hadn’t had the chance to try the famous Pepe Jeans martini glasses, but I accidentally tested it today and wow! I was fascinated; it’s like a tropical cocktail prepared in some bar on a beach. The pineapple is very noticeable but sweeter than acidic. I also detect whipped cream, but not in a gourmand way; it’s more subtle. I’ve added it to my wishlist.
