About Terren
Terren by Blackoud: A New Unisex Perfume With a Fresh, Woody Character
Blackoud has added Terren to its collection, a unisex fragrance set to launch in 2026. Designed for men and women, it opens with vivid citrus notes before moving into an aromatic heart and a warm, woody dry-down.
This new release plays on opposites: a crisp, sparkling start, a lavender and aquatic middle, and a base that feels both earthy and softly sweet. The result is a scent with plenty of versatility.
The top notes are white pepper, grapefruit, bergamot, lemon, and caviar. The effect is immediately striking, with sharp citrus and a subtle peppery warmth that gives the opening an unusual edge.
In the heart, aquatic notes meet lavender. This combination delivers a clean, herbal freshness that brings to mind coastal air and gentle breezes, without becoming too watery.
At the base, woody notes, tonka bean, patchouli, vetiver, vanilla, and Cistus Incanus create a softer, more grounded finish. It feels resinous, slightly earthy, and deceptively calm.
The listed accords — citrus, aromatic, woody, fresh spicy, vanilla, marine, warm spicy, patchouli, lavender, and earthy — reveal a fragrance that moves through several moods. It can feel bright in one moment and deeply comfortable in the next.
Being a 2026 creation, Terren is still new, but its balanced structure already suggests it could work well for a wide range of preferences and occasions. It is neither too loud nor too discreet.
Early reviews give it a rating of 4 out of 5, which bodes well for such a recent launch.
Terren will appeal to men and women who like unisex perfumes with a modern feel, especially those who enjoy the interplay between citrus zest, aromatic lavender, and lasting woody warmth.
Terren is a well-crafted unisex launch from Blackoud. It brings together marine freshness, lavender, and woody depth in a way that feels contemporary and wearable. Worth sampling when it arrives in 2026.

A perfume for everyday use, quite versatile and long-lasting. Very easy to like—it reminds me a lot of the Valentino Born in Roma line. But I wouldn’t say it’s a dupe; this one goes its own way and is even more elegant. For now I can’t comment on the projection, but it’s an extract perfume, so longevity is very good. It has grapefruit accompanied by lavender and aquatic notes with woody touches. Very easy to like: if you find it on offer, you can buy it blind. Fragrance rating: 8/10.
