In 2024, Selvatico presented Thé à la Française, an Oriental Vanilla creation designed for both women and men.
Black tea and orange lead the opening, gingerbread forms the heart, and vanilla, musk, milk and honey shape the base.
At first it is fresh yet soothing. The black tea has a green, faintly astringent character that lends definition, while the orange contributes a bright, juicy sparkle.
The heart is all gingerbread, mellow and warming. Hints of honeyed spice and cinnamon evoke home baking, kept airy rather than dense.
Later the blend grows milky and rounded. Sweet vanilla joins milk and honey for a lactonic softness, with musk leaving a powdery, cotton-like veil.
