Trying this Jo Malone creation and it makes me want to bite my hand; the fennel and bergamot in the opening are very intense, but after five minutes a delicious, edible sensation of creamy, vanilla-almond fennel with caramel sparkles emerges, mmm, so lovely, it awakens the glutton within. I find it a very charming, comforting and warm fragrance, ideal for cold days or when you’re feeling down. I wouldn’t describe it as feminine, but rather as sweet, coquettish and enveloping. It’s very unisex, and the only thing I ask of Jo Malone is WHY DOESN’T IT LAST LONGER; it seems many beauties are like shooting stars.
