  Close your eyes and picture a vast green field just after rain, under a sun with scattered clouds. You feel the dampness seeping into every part of your system. Wet plains. There is a very rare phase that gives me the sensation of having played sport in the rain; it smells of a soaked shirt, sweat and earth, like an old football match where we played almost in the mud. My clothes were wet, sweaty and caked in mud. Thinking about the story, I couldn’t help but imagine those teenage Abercrombie models in green fields, in couples, with great chemistry. A scent of sweat mixed with a spicy note I noticed when I smelled it again, bringing back softcore erotic flashbacks and a very romantic youthful vibe. I also thought of a couple from the 60s who, being rebellious, fled their mansion to some damp part of the US or England to spend the afternoon together and forget social drama. I interpret that sweat accord as the nerves of youthful mischief. The tennis ball represents the elite and the wet field is the plain where they run free, escaping a society that allows no respite. It smells very much like the packaging of new tennis balls. Natural dampness. Wet green grass. Sexy sweat. Sport. Tajín? I went too far because, upon re-reading the story, I saw nothing about couples, only the bottle; perhaps I crossed stories with another perfume, but this means a lot regarding being ‘served on a silver platter’ and seeking to return the favour. Basically, it was pure inspiration from what the perfume causes in me. Although the brand says you interpret it your own way, this is my version.
