  As there are few reviews, I’ll share my experience with a 2 ml decant. It smells fantastic, but I won’t buy it as I’m not the target audience, though I recommend trying it because it’s interesting. The opening is realistic wood with a spicy pepper note over intense powder; it reminds me of quality paper. Then the pepper fades and sweet vanilla rises. On the skin, it leaves myrrh, woods, vanilla, and a touch of lavender over powder. It smells powdery all the time, but not baby-like; the myrrh and vanilla keep it unisex, perhaps with a slight masculine lean. I enjoy the experience, but I don’t see it in my collection, even though it’s unique.

  To start, I don’t own the bottle; a friend gifted me a 2 ml decant, and I already know I won’t be buying it. The opening is powdery with lavender, almost chalky (like the whiteboard chalk in my office), and vanilla with resinous woods that blend beautifully with a linen scent. It’s a clean, rich fragrance, but although it’s unisex, it leans slightly feminine. It’s harmless and pleasant, just not my style.

  I absolutely love it, and I’m not the only one who picks up that powdery note; to me, it smells like licorice or anise. It’s identical to Histoires de Parfums 1725, the original Dior Eau Noire, and Amouage Sunshine Man. It’s ethereal, super unisex, and lasts eight hours, but bear in mind: it has zero projection, staying close to the skin without being annoying.
