United Dreams Men Go Far by Benetton is an aromatic aquatic fragrance for men. Launched in 2015, this composition features a marine freshness accompanied by citrus and lime, specifically green lemon, in its top notes. The heart reveals a harmony between lavender, blue lotus flower, and cardamom, while the base notes rest on a bed of cedar, moss, and amber.

  • To be honest, it doesn’t smell like anything I’ve tried before, but what stands out most is the lavender, which isn’t really my favourite. I first smelled it on the tester and then on my skin; I didn’t notice many differences, although I have the right pH and most things suit me. At first, it was slightly green, perhaps basil, very soft. Within seconds it shifted to cool. Then it became fully citrusy, with the bergamot entering delicately before giving way to the lavender, the star. I think it’s for daily wear, suitable for young people and adults up to around forty. It smells clean, with a very discreet woody note, slightly sweet, and has good projection and longevity.

  • It doesn’t resemble anything I’ve smelled before, but what stands out most is the lavender, which isn’t my favourite. First on the tester, then on my arm; I noticed something green, perhaps basil, very soft, which turned cold in seconds. Then all citrus: delicate bergamot giving way to the lavender, the star. Clean, subtly woody, slightly sweet, good trail and longevity. Suitable for young people and adults up to 40.

  • Very soft; the citrus and marine notes are almost imperceptible and it lacks that sparkling touch that would make it stand out. I’ve felt the same with other fragrances from the brand.

  • It seems very soft; the citrus and marine notes are almost imperceptible, truly lacking any sparkling touch that stands out. I’ve felt this same sensation with other perfumes from the brand.

  • MTBTRANCE

Sporty-aquatic scent with woody notes; reminds me of the fourth part of Aqua Gio: a light, marine aroma with a soft trail and longevity. Ideal for the gym or sports.

  • Very fresh and cheap. Ideal for errands, visiting neighbours, or heading to the gym. Little trail and longevity. I prefer perfumes that linger on shirts, like Dior Fahrenheit; this is for light occasions, not for seduction, as it fades quickly.

  • Just bought it and I love it. Lasts about five hours and stands out more in the heat; it beats D&G Light Blue for me. Lasts until the next day on clothes. The green version might last a bit longer, but this one is fine.

Honestly, if you’re looking for something different and cheap, this isn’t it. Clean and citrusy opening, but as it dries down (after an hour), I feel it lacks something to really shine. Perfect for heat: it doesn’t bother, but it doesn’t enchant either. I use it for running or post-shower, sometimes for work, but overall it’s very discreet.

Honestly, if you’re looking for something distinct and cheap, this isn’t it. Clean citrus opening, but as it dries down (after an hour), I feel it lacks something to really shine. Perfect for heat: it’s not annoying, but it doesn’t enchant either. I use it for running or post-shower, sometimes at work, but generally, it’s very discreet.

  • Ideal for sport or intense summer days: strong citrus opening, followed by a soft marine base with white flowers and lavender. Finishes with vetiver and cedar; reminds me of Polo Blue. As a herbal Mediterranean aquatic, if it doesn’t break the bank, it’s perfect. Gentle, yet with the performance of other brands, it passes with flying colours.

  • Olisqueando

Sharp citrus notes at first that soften quickly, leaving a lavender scent with an 80s barbershop vibe, yet controlled enough not to sound dated. Fresh and suitable for everyone, though it suits those over 20 better. Lasts six hours on skin, projects little but outperforms some expensive designer fragrances.

  • Olisqueando

It’s a citrus scent with a lavender base and marine notes. The opening is a bit sharp with prominent citrus, but it settles down within minutes. The lavender comes in, and over time it takes on eighties vibes, like a barbershop, but well-controlled by the other notes so it doesn’t feel old-fashioned. It’s fresh and suitable for all ages, though better from the age of twenty. It lasts about six hours on the skin, projects a little but not less than some more expensive designer fragrances.

  • Benetton United Dreams Men Go Far is a super fresh fragrance for sports use, it doesn’t overwhelm anyone or even the pets.

  • Benetton United Dreams Men Go Far is a fresh fragrance with poor longevity and a discreet trail, although appropriate for the price. Recommended only in warm environments and informal situations.

  • United Dreams Men Go Far by Benetton is fresh, with poor longevity and a subtle sillage, though appropriate for the price. Recommended only for warm settings and informal occasions.

  • It’s very nice, but has poor longevity and a very soft trail. I recommend it for daily and informal use. It’s a good perfume for the price, but there are better alternatives depending on what one wants (high-end).

My experience: I went to the store determined to buy a Benetton, tried them all, and this was the one I liked. The tangerine opening reminded me of Polo Blue, and I thought: ‘I must take this!’ (price in Uruguay: $19 for 60ml on offer). The next day, after seven sprays, I noticed the typical alcohol smell of cheap perfumes (I recall similar AVON offers from years ago). I assumed it was the opening, waited for it to evaporate, but the remaining scent still carried that low-cost, three-dollar vibe. Do not misunderstand: it doesn’t smell like cheap fragrance per se, as today’s budget perfumery has improved vastly, and for $19 there are better options. This one recalls the alcoholic cheap fragrances of the past. It projects, yes, and lasts like an EDT, but believe me, it adds nothing. Not recommended.

I went to the shop determined to buy a Benetton, tried them all, and this one I liked. The tangerine opening reminded me of Polo Blue and I thought: I must take this. The next day, after 7 sprays in the morning, I smelled typical alcohol from cheap perfumes (I remember AVON offers from years ago). I thought it was the opening, waited for it to evaporate, but the remaining aroma still smelled like those low-cost perfumes. Don’t misunderstand: it doesn’t smell like a cheap fragrance in itself; nowadays economic perfumery has improved a lot and for $19 you can get better things. This reminds me of alcoholic cheap fragrances from the past. It projects, yes, lasts like an EDT, but believe me, it won’t add anything to your wardrobe. Not recommended.

Fresh citrus fragrance, nothing special. Very low longevity, about 3 hours, and you have to reapply the trail. I’m not buying it again.

  • Fresh and citrusy fragrance, poor longevity (about 3 hours on my skin). When applied, it smells lovely, almost sparkling, but offers nothing else; the trail doesn’t reach an hour. What a pity such a pleasant scent goes unnoticed. I recommend it for quick outings: supermarket, post office, daytime dates, best in the morning. I use it at night after a bath, it’s ideal to feel clean and fresh without being overwhelming. Would I buy it again? Definitely not. I don’t think it adds to my collection; I’ve never been a fan of Benetton and I confirm why. There are better alternatives for the price.

  • I don’t like it much. The opening smells like spoiled tangerine, but it’s not unpleasant because it’s soft. It has no longevity or trail. I use it very little for insignificant things and wouldn’t recommend it.

  • I don’t like it much; the opening smells of spoiled tangerine, yet it isn’t unpleasant as it is very soft. It lacks both longevity and sillage. I use it sparingly for trivial matters and would not recommend it.

One of my favourites since last year; I always get compliments. Very fresh, the marine and mentholated notes stand out, recommended for daily wear, and the price is good. I’d buy it again. On my skin, it lasts more than 5 hours. Worth it.

  • Another Benetton: United Dreams Men Go Far. Revitalising for after the gym or at home. The trail is decent (30 mins) and the projection acceptable (4 hours). It opens citrusy with lavender, neat, fresh, and gives me a sense of well-being. It’s for day or evening use, not for night, and is informal. Spring suits it best. In short: revitalising for home and physical activities, it doesn’t put you off. Cheers.

  • Lasts between three and six hours with an arm-length trail and moderate projection. Although it’s cheap and doesn’t reinvent the wheel, it smells great: a citrus that doesn’t sting, aquatic, fresh and clean with a subtle sweet touch. I love it, even though it’s common. I’d also recommend other Benetton scents: Be Strong, Big Dream and Cactus Ford Him. Perfect for simple occasions: hanging out with mates, heading to the gym, running errands, shopping or popping to the bank. It never fails and people will ask what you’re wearing.

  • Lasts between 3 and 6 hours with an arm’s length trail and medium potency. Although it’s cheap and doesn’t reinvent the wheel, it smells great: citrusy without being sharp, aquatic, fresh, clean, with a touch of sweetness. I love it, even if it’s just another one of the crowd. I’d also recommend from Benetton: Be Strong, Big Dream, and Cactus Ford Him. Ideal for simple things: hanging out with mates, hitting the gym, running, grabbing the groceries, or popping to the bank. It never fails, and people will ask what you’re wearing.
