Very warm vanilla with three-dimensional champaca making it creamy, with woods and mystical, powdery ylang-ylang without exaggeration. It’s not complex, but the ingredients are top. It opens sweet and burnt, like when a pot of custard gets slightly scorched, then the floral part emerges. It’s not strong at first because it’s so concentrated and needs heat to develop; then bammm, it won’t leave even if you shower. I ordered it thinking of summer, but it works better in the cold. Intoxicating, sexy night vanilla, very feminine. Selling it, 100ml new, not even a spray. Perfect longevity: two sprays and all day.
Very warm vanilla with three-dimensional Champaca and a woody touch! The Ylang adds a mystical powdery note without overdoing it. It opens with sweet and burnt vanilla, as if it had caught in the pot, and then the floral side emerges. It’s not strong at first because it’s so concentrated it needs minutes to develop. Then, bam, it won’t leave even if you shower; the trail envelops you. I ordered it for summer but it doesn’t fit; it’s very feminine and for cold nights. 100ml new, unopened. No issues with longevity: 2 sprays and it lasted all day.
Pure and exquisite vanilla, warm and consistent. No sparkles or tricks with champaca or ylang-ylang to dress it up; all that was said was a lie. It’s not cloying or sticky, but juicy, tender and elegant, like good coffee, cosy and without tiring.
Tested on blotter, I like it. It’s not a pastry vanilla; it reminds me of Yves Rocher’s Vanille Noire and a bit of Vanhera. It has fascinating darkness, warmth, and a slightly animal touch. On paper, it seems to have a slightly forced base, like ambroxan, but you must try it on skin. It smells quite strong on blotter, so the performance shouldn’t be bad, but it would need to differentiate much more to make me buy it.
Exquisitely pure, warm, consistent, and long-lasting vanilla. It’s flat, with no tricks, where Champaca and Ylang enhance the original vanilla. Everything they said about the vanilla was a lie: it’s not cloying, but a warmly juicy, tender, and elegant aroma, like good coffee, that doesn’t tire and offers comfort.
‘Vanille de Tahiti’ blends indolic flowers with vanilla cream, ylang-ylang, and Champaca, creating the purest and most natural vanilla I’ve heard. It’s not smoky like Spiritueuse, nor medicinal like Lune Feline, nor spicy like Ani, nor sugary like Vanilla 28. It’s different, natural, tender, creamy, addictive, and wild. I visualise myself in a meadow of yellow flowers and it evokes moments with my grandparents. Low trail and 4 hours of longevity, but the extreme heat makes me keep it for intermediate climates. If you’re a fan, try it.
I’m not usually a fan of vanilla, but this free sample surprised me. It’s not gourmand or sweet, but plays hide-and-seek, hidden among flowers that sometimes enhance it indirectly. It has an addictive animal touch, seductive and with a ‘danger’ vibe, femme fatale style. It lasts over 8 hours on skin; at the end, the classic sweet vanilla emerges. I wouldn’t buy it in quantity, but it was a pleasant experience.
I usually don’t like vanilla, but a free sample surprised me. It’s not sweet or gourmand, but a hidden vanilla among flowers that sometimes enhance it. It has an animal note that makes it addictive and seductive, fitting for a ‘femme fatale’. It lasts over 8 hours; at the end, the sweet gourmand vanilla appears. I wouldn’t buy it, but it was a pleasant olfactory experience.
The opening repulses me, smelling of field manure, but the dry-down is a very nice vanilla. Longevity and projection are very soft. I wouldn’t buy it for that horrible opening, but try it if you get the chance because the dry-down can enchant you if you like vanilla.
Surprising vanilla, nothing like what you expect. It smells green/floral, like the orchids in the Seychelles where vanilla is harvested. Wet flowers with a slight sweetness, special and realistic. The projection is a laugh; only you smell it and whoever bites your neck. It lasts 4-5 hours, but I forgive it because I’m crazy about the scent.
Surprising vanilla! It doesn’t smell like typical vanilla, but rather green and floral. It reminds me of the orchids in the Seychelles where vanilla is cultivated: wet flowers with a sweet, special touch, and probably the most hyper-realistic vanilla on the market. The trail and projection are laughable; only you and those who nibble your neck will smell it. The longevity is brief, about 4-5 hours, but I forgive it because I simply adore the scent.
I agree with the positive reviews: it’s an indolic, sensual, and beautiful vanilla. When you think there can’t be any more new vanilla, you find this. It smells like the sweet residue of vanilla pods in glass bottles, like brown custard paste, without being excessively gourmand. It’s elegant, playful, and exuberant; it orbits a natural yet complex vanilla, boosted by opulent Champaca and yellow flowers. It’s a cozy fragrance, perfect for autumn.
A floral vanilla classic! If you like vanilla, you must try it. On my skin, the Ylang-Ylang and Champaca dominate the background vanilla, which I’d love to be more prominent. It lasts hours on the skin but is almost skin-scented; you have to get very close to detect any projection. I use it mixed with other perfumes to give them a ‘twist’, which is a pity because at its price it should shine on its own. I’m glad to have it on discount, but at full price I wouldn’t buy it; there are better options for longevity and projection.
