Rose de Taif Extrait by Perris Monte Carlo is an oriental floral fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2015, this composition was created by perfumer Luca Maffei. Its top notes of lemon, sour lime, bergamot, nutmeg and elemi provide a vibrant and citrusy opening. The heart reveals a lush bloom of Taif rose, Damask rose, rose, geranium and cloves, adding depth and character. To finish, the base notes of amber, patchouli, musk, Peru balsam and Virginia cedar offer a warm, woody and silky trail that lingers on the skin.

A wonderful fragrance from Perris Monte Carlo. If you enjoy the scent of freshly cut stems, this is your perfume. I never thought I’d like floral notes in a men’s fragrance, but it is so exquisite that it’s impossible not to fall in love with it.
A crisp yet voluptuous rose that, in my opinion, is unisex. Upon spraying, the citrus notes make it very cheerful, before giving way to geranium which enhances the flower for about three hours. Afterward, the rose lingers on the skin, sweeter but never cloying, lasting between 10 and 12 hours. It is gorgeous and long-lasting. I consider it unisex for those who know their perfumes well, without belittling anyone. I see it as perfect for spring, though autumn and winter also work well depending on the weather. Hot summer days are not suitable, as it is too intense and could be overwhelming. All in all, it smells very natural.

The perfect feminine fragrance for getting lost in an intense, opulent bath of roses. It delivers exactly what it promises: a pure olfactory experience. If you love roses, this will take you to ecstasy; if not, be prepared to open a window and feel a bit dizzy. Although floral, it has a unique charm that pairs perfectly with a casual look, just a single touch on the chest. While other perfumes smell of ‘generic rose’, this Taif Rose Extract smells straight of fresh, real roses.
