Had I seen the notes, I would not have tried it, thinking it would be a heavy gourmand. I did perceive a coffee, not overly literal, but a dark, enveloping, roasted and sweet aroma, whilst at the same time being quite airy. Compared with Black Opium Le Parfum, BO is a denser dark vanilla-coffee and also has better performance. And the scent is slightly different, between the pear note and the cinnamon one. Even so, for the first 2-3 hours it had quite good projection.
