The Ulrich de Varens house continues to surprise us with its new releases. The classic UDV in its grey box, with that eighties touch of citrus and wood, remains my favourite. Its flankers are very novel and combine price and quality in an unbeatable way. Version Black, launched in 2010, is 95% identical to Azzaro’s Chrome; for those who don’t own it, it’s an almost perfect clone. Furthermore, its longevity and projection are very good. At this price, it’s a great option for summer: fresh, with a citrus and aromatic opening, featuring that typical metallic note of Azzaro. It is floral yet retains a masculine touch. I recommend it for looking after the wallet and smelling good in a casual way. After two hours, it softens into an ideal floral for post-shower. This is how I wear it and I love it.
