  A dignified and complete vetiver that touches on all its nuances: the brightness, the woody notes, and the earthiness. It’s a bit of everything without really standing out in any specific area. It begins with those luminous, revitalising touches of vetiver before muting into deeper woody and earthy tones, closing with that woody character until it fades. There isn’t much more to say. Its longevity hovers around six to eight hours, depending on the weather, and I see it, like almost all vetivers, as preferable for spring and summer days, though certainly not off-limits in other seasons. Traditionally, it’s a masculine scent. Personally, I believe there are better or far superior options available on the market; indeed, there’s one almost identical to Amouage (the LV), and if you love bright vetivers, you could opt for Guerlain’s, perhaps the finest, or Givenchy’s, which doesn’t fall behind. Among the earthy and/or woody contenders, there are Mona di Orio’s and Nishane’s. Please note, I’m not saying this isn’t a good perfume (it certainly is), but rather that other options offer better value for money, or, due to their character, focus more intently on a particular aspect of vetiver.
