  I picked this up at random as the Vicolo Via Verri scent wasn’t available, and what a fantastic choice. While I’m not usually a fan of aquatic notes, this smells of fresh, juicy mandarin that keeps coming through; it even reminds me of sweet melon. What stands out most are the water lily and lotus, sweet and aquatic, with a clean musk base that is so soothing. Vanilla and amber add warmth. It’s floral, soft and delicate, perfect for spring and summer. Although it looks fragile, it lasts like an EDP, around five hours with lingering bursts of scent. It’s cheerful, youthful and lively, yet possesses a subtle elegance that goes equally well with jeans or a silk dress. The oils are natural, nothing synthetic. If you look at the floral notes, it’s as if they enter your eyes before your nose: a rainbow of warm colours that brightens grey days and immerses you in a floating oriental garden. A delight for all the senses.
