  I admit I bought it for the bottle; I adore the wings and it looks wonderful in the dressing table. But I think I will only use it as decoration. Something strange happens to me: I believe it is an old perfume that has gone off. With ‘Victoria’ and ‘Angel’, they smell nice at first, but once they dry on my skin, they smell like insecticide, disgusting. In fact, the expense depressed me so much that I cannot use them as I wanted.

  I bought only the Angel mist and liked it; for a mist, it lasts three hours and then softens until eight o’clock with a trail. The opening is sweet; I don’t detect the pink pepper or plum, but I do notice the violet and gardenia. In the base, very clearly, that oud wood. I don’t sense the musk, but I do feel the fixative power of the violets, gardenias, and wood. For me, it is very feminine and defines a woman with class.

  The bottle with its wings and iridescence made me dream of something ethereal and feminine; that element is there, but all I detect is gardenia with oud. It reminds me of Tous Gold, but with a very weak trail. What a pity, if it were more original, I would have bought it.

  A friend gifted it to me; the opening is lovely, but once it dries down, it smells strong and unpleasant, nothing special. It doesn’t convince me, although the bottle is a real luxury.
