I have a decant and it smells feminine to me. On my nose, it smells like vanilla pancake with orange. I don’t know why they haven’t released the other three Bharara Kings yet.
It doesn’t smell feminine to me. I already tested it on skin and liked it quite a bit. It’s not very cloying either; in fact, it smells less sweet than Scandal. I love the scent.
It’s like combining TriBeCa and Baccarat Rouge. I like it; I give it 100/10. It’s suitable for more than 12 occasions a year, not so much in extreme heat.
I bought it a month ago and absolutely loved it 💕 It’s sweet, floral, and features one of the most realistic jasmine notes I’ve tried. On my skin, it’s sweet but not cloying. The cacao and hazelnut give a coconut sensation, even though it’s not declared. It doesn’t evolve much, staying soft and consistent. It’s not a beast in terms of longevity, but it lasts all day. Would I buy it again? 👌 Yes, definitely.
I bought it blind and it was a mistake. I let myself be swept away by the hype and was disappointed. I can’t understand how others like it. From the comments, I only share that it’s feminine with a touch of orange, and indeed, I feel it that way. The notes of cacao, caramel, and hazelnut are non-existent; it just smells floral with hints of coconut and orange, slightly earthy (perhaps due to the hazelnut). I clearly don’t like it. I tested it with three perfumer friends and we were all repulsed. It’s very potent; I have it boxed to resell, and even in the box, it smells floral with coconut. The only good thing is that it lasts for days and has a massive sillage (it’s in the box and the whole room smells), but use it at your own risk.
Bought it blindly and it was a mistake; I let myself be swayed by the marketing, and the truth is, it was disappointing. I can’t fathom how others could like it. From the reviews, I only agree with one person who says it’s feminine with an orange note, and indeed, I perceive it that way. The cocoa, caramel, and hazelnut notes are completely absent; all I detect is floral with slight hints of coconut and orange, a bit earthy. Clearly, it’s not to my taste—I tested it with three perfume enthusiasts and we were all repelled. It’s very potent; I still have it boxed for resale, and even the box smells of floral and coconut. If there’s anything good, it lasts for days on the skin and has an enormous sillage (even the box lingers in the room), but use it at your own risk.
A rich floral that’s present all the time, although the ambroxan tries to neutralise it; in the end, the sweetness wins.
It’s the best version of Bond No 9’s TriBeCa. I also own Maison Alhambra’s Luxe Blanc (it doesn’t appear on Fragrantica, why?), which smells lovely and lasts long, though it has a higher alcohol content. Bharara’s Viking is the king: well-made and a true beast mode. I’d love to try Jo Milano Paris’s Game of Spades Royale, but it’s hard to find in Spain. If you adore caramelised white flowers with wood, buy it without hesitation.

It smells exactly like Black Orchid.
