  Winter 1999 to forget… ➡️ The verdict: a woody-vanilla base dominated by a molasses accord, which is thick, dark, crystallised sugar. Nutmeg adds its note, but everything revolves around that dominant molasses over a sweet-woody background with an astringent texture. 🤔 At first, it smells burnt and you detect clove, but it isn’t; it’s your brain trying to decipher that uncommon perfume accord. Linear, unisex-masculine, dense and potent. Do I like it? No. Would I use it? No. It has quality, but in my view it’s more art than perfume; that’s praiseworthy, though I’m not attracted to smelling like crystallised sugar (molasses). It’s very individual and shouldn’t stop you from trying it. Some people dislike incense, leather and oud; understandable. I love those scents, but I don’t like molasses; if you do, it’s the perfect perfume for you. 100 ml will last you a lifetime, and if you have children, you could pass it on. You might get tired of it before you can pass it on; a 50 ml presentation would be better. It’s for sampling or, if you really like it, buying millilitres. Interesting and artistic. It’s everything, and as the song by Sanz says: 🎶 ‘I appreciate it, but no’ 🎶
