Ytzma by Royal Crown is a chypre fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2014, the nose behind this composition is Antonio Visconti. The top notes reveal dried fruits, mandarin, nutmeg, black pepper, Calabrian bergamot and lemon; the heart unfolds oud wood, peach blossom, magnolia, orange blossom and Moroccan rose; while the base notes settle on tobacco, cypress, castoreum, oud wood, sandalwood, vanilla absolute, ambergris, vetiver, patchouli, oakmoss and Gurjum balsam.

It’s not listed in the notes that suede or leather are present, yet this fragrance is very much in the style of Tuscan Leather, particularly La Yuqawam. You can read the reviews of the two previous ones to get an idea of what it smells like, but it’s a little more refined and soft.

This is an absolute bomb, one of the heaviest, longest-lasting and most projecting fragrances RC has. It’s a dupe for Tuscan Leather but more fruity, with a spicy twist and nothing fresh; it’s like mixing Tuscan Leather with a kilo of raspberries and spices. Definitely enjoyable, nothing challenging, but be careful with the sprays as they can give you a headache. The longevity exceeds a day and the projection is strong, more than six hours at over a metre away; it doesn’t go unnoticed. P.S.: the colour is red-orange and can stain light clothing, so be careful and use it on skin only.
