Exquisite lime opening with jasmine and woods, I think it’s very good and long-lasting.
Exquisite fragrance, very fresh and elegant at the same time. I’ve already received compliments from girls on several occasions; it will definitely stay in my collection for a long time. Good handling of fresh notes with woods at the base; at times it reminds me of Armani’s Aqua di Gio. Good longevity for the low cost, 100% recommended.
The opening is, let’s say, somewhat unrealistic. It’s not excessively unpleasant, but it doesn’t say anything positive to me. The dry down, keeping those fresh tones which sometimes verge on chemical and aren’t usually my thing, I tolerate much better and find it somewhat pleasant. It has decent performance and highlights (because it’s not worse) perfumes that cost four times as much.
A good perfume, mainly citrus with a pleasant jasmine note. Ideal for spring and summer. Scent 7.5: citrus and slightly sweet, simple and linear. It doesn’t degrade over time, maintaining its quality. One of the best citrus fragrances in this price range. Longevity 6: around 4 or 5 hours, does just enough, reapplication is advisable. Sillage 6: doesn’t project too much but enough to be noticed. Value 9: best bought in a pack with Seoul, which is also good and complements it well. For just over $20 you get two 100ml perfumes. Final score 7.5: worth having in the collection, especially given its low price.
What a lovely lemon opening, reminiscent of Aqua di Gio. Unfortunately, it clings to the skin and doesn’t last long, but on hot, breezy days it projects that little scent of lemon and jasmine beautifully. It’s not overpowering and doesn’t seek attention. I’d give it a 6 out of 10.
Fantastic pure lemon leaf opening. As minutes pass, it blends with jasmine. That’s it: a simple, rich, very citrusy fragrance that calls for summer and heat. Regarding sillage and longevity, the same as with all Zara scents: besides the lack of progression, that is their main flaw; the notes remain the same from start to finish.
I found the fragrance very unpleasant. I recommend smelling it first before buying blindly. It smells like lemon fly spray or cheap floor cleaner, and I’m being serious. If you like it, smell it first. In my opinion, it’s a 3/10 because it smells like synthetic lemon floor cleaner sold in supermarkets.
Of the Acqua di Gio clones I’ve tried, the Zara one is one of the best. It doesn’t feel synthetic and isn’t as spicy as Perry Ellis 360 Red. On my skin, it lasts 7 and a half hours; it was truly an ideal purchase. Highly recommended if you like citrus and want longevity.
A charming perfume, a symphony of citrus seeking the warmth of the sun to sound in unison in a refreshing ode with a subtle and intoxicating note of jasmine.
I love this fragrance. The opening doesn’t smell synthetic; it’s super fresh, as if you’ve just torn a lemon leaf and crushed it in your hand. Then comes a salty scent, like orange with salt or sea salt on the skin. It lasts 5 hours with a projection of 3. Recommended for sunny days or spring. Excellent price; I picked it up in a pack with Seoul for 500 Mexican pesos, a real bargain.
Acqua di Gio is a mega recognisable scent. I tried it on myself, a friend, and my brother; I wanted to buy it for my collection, but with the reviews about reformulations and the price of over 2,000 Mexican pesos, I hesitated. The opening is unusual, slightly fruity, then a salty scent that turns into clean sweat, very masculine. After half an hour, once it dries down, it takes on the feel of the original. I love its versatility: it goes to the office without being intrusive and to the gym in summer. I don’t see it thriving at night; it gains power in the sun. Scent: 8.5, Longevity: 8, Sillage: 7, Price: 10. Final rating: 8.2. I got it for 350 Mexican pesos. A reinterpretation of Acqua di Gio mixed with Bvlgari Aqua, lasting 6 to 6.30 hours. It’s pretty, functional, and non-intrusive.
I like the DNA of Acqua di Gio a lot, but since I discovered Zara Lisboa, I prefer this. I feel it’s an improved Acqua di Gio. Despite the price difference, I find nothing synthetic. The opening is super fresh and the lemon scent is delicious. Personally, it makes paying so much for the original unnecessary. If we compare them, Zara Lisboa lasts less, but it’s worth it. Hopefully, Zara will release a perfume with the DNA of Acqua di Gio Profumo.
Very aromatic opening, not synthetic but slightly chemical. The citrus and aquatic notes fade quickly to reveal young woody notes. Ideal for under 30s, simple and unpretentious. Totally suitable for its price point.
Super fresh and original cologne for informal days, sports, or relaxing at home. The value for money is impeccable. On my skin, it lasts 5 or 6 hours, which is a 10 for Zara. It starts citrusy and then settles into a rich floral-herbal dry down. It’s not an exact clone of Acqua di Gio, but it’s 90% similar. For the price, you can’t ask for more.
Absolutely delicious, super marine; it smells straight of beach and sea. Reminds me of Aqua di Gio and, at times, Polo Blue. Highly recommended if you’re seeking pure freshness.
It is not a clone, but an inspiration. It resembles the original, but lacks the herbal notes; here it leans more towards fruity-floral. I prefer this Zara Lisboa for that fruity twist and creamier dry down. Recommended for its price and quality, plus it earns many compliments.
I would not say it is a clone of Acqua di Gio, but rather an ‘inspiration’. It resembles it, but lacks the quantity of herbal and aromatic notes that characterise the original. Yes, it is in the ADG style, but leaning towards the fruity-floral side. Personally, I prefer this Zara Lisboa precisely because of the fruity twist and the creamier dry-down. Recommended for quality and price. Additionally, it garners many compliments.
Considering that Acqua di Gio does not last more than 3 hours and costs six times as much (which I almost consider a scam), I find it highly recommended. It is not the same if you compare them side by side, and it is slightly more floral. Almost for this reason, I like it more. Highly recommended. That said, reapply after 3 hours, just like with Acqua di Gio.
Given that the original Acqua di Gio does not last long and costs a fortune, this is highly recommended. It is not the same; it is slightly more floral and, personally, I prefer it. Super recommended. Just remember to reapply every three hours, as with the original.
Best value for money. Pleasant and cool, ideal for spring and summer. Blind buy? Without a doubt.
Good performance, fresh and accessible. Wear it every day, at the office or for informal dates. It smells like Aqua di Gio but with its own nuances. Highly recommended blind. On my skin it lasts about four hours, but for the price, there is no complaint.
The budget-friendly Acqua Di Gio. What a pleasant surprise. I bought it in a pack with Seoul at an excellent price. It resembles the original, though it is not identical. For its price, it is ideal for spring and summer, going to work or simply spending the day feeling neat.
Simple, with no evolution and very direct.
Basic and simple, but not bad. I like it a lot. With 12 sprays, it is moderately noticeable for up to seven hours. A great surprise: it does not project much, but those nearby can certainly detect it.
At first, it smells like intense, chemical lemon air freshener, but as it dries down, it becomes refreshing and natural. Perfect for hot days, though it eventually turns woody. It is linear and basic, not suitable for events, but it makes you feel great in the heat. Lasts about five and a half hours on the skin. Ideal for young people aged 19 to 28.
A fruitier take on Acqua di Gio with similar longevity. The opening is slightly synthetic, but once it dries down, it approaches the quality of the original. A great buy if you grab it in a pack with Seul. Ideal for the gym or morning outings. If you are not a perfume expert, it will serve you for almost any day-to-day situation.
A very good, simple fragrance with few notes, featuring citrus, green, and floral touches. Basic, synthetic, and almost chemical to the point of being slightly sharp. With average longevity of around 5 hours, it performs perfectly during the day, especially in spring and summer. Ideal for daily wear, travel, holidays by the coast, or the gym; in fact, it would be viable to label it ‘Sport’. While it shares citrus and jasmine notes with Acqua Di Gio, Zara Lisboa Colombo Avenida Do Colegio Militar takes its own unique, linear path from the start. ATTENTION: blind buyers, I must state that it bears almost no resemblance to Acqua di Gio (which is a complex fragrance). It is hilarious that promoters, even in person, display it and offer it as a clone, claiming they are identical; simply… nothing to do with each other. Therefore, I recommend not letting yourself be swayed by interested sellers, novices, or minimalists who tend to simplify the world of fragrances into three or four bottles (strange that they don’t also say it resembles One Million, as in their parallel universe everything resembles One Million by Paco Rabanne, Acqua di Gio, or CH 212). For illustrative purposes, I will copy-paste from Fragrantica’s Fragrance Encyclopedia. Conclusion: it remotely recalls Acqua di Gio at 20% similarity, as it also does with Clinique Happy at 20%, Perry Ellis 360 Red at 25%, Perry Ellis Intense at 20%, Issey Miyake L’Eau D’Issey at 15%, and Franck Olivier Blue Touch at 25%. Taken together, these figures give you an idea of where this fragrance lies.
A simple, citrusy, green and floral scent with a synthetic, spicy edge. Lasts around five hours, perfect for daytime, summer, the gym or holidays. While it shares about 20% DNA with Acqua Di Gio, it is not a clone; it has its own identity. Beware of sellers claiming it is identical to the original or One Million; it is nothing like them. It is fresh, linear and ideal for feeling clean without fuss.
Lisboa is a Zara classic that recalls the famous Acqua di Gio but with a fruity twist. Curiously, it lasts just as long as the Armani fragrance and boasts very good projection for an eau de toilette at €10.95. It’s not a complex scent, but it is very easy to like. It is one of the indispensable colognes in Zara’s catalogue.

You pluck a lemon leaf and crush it inside your fist. You open your hand, and this is what you smell. A sober aroma, no fuss, nothing extravagant. You don’t have to prove anything; you’re just enjoying your own life, focused on your goal. Between this and ADG, people who smell it won’t notice the difference. Often, even you won’t notice the difference during the dry-down. By the way, this has better performance than the original ADG, which lasts only a sigh. It’s worth having as a wardrobe staple.
You pluck a lemon leaf, crush it in your fist, and open your hand to reveal what you smell: a sober, unpretentious scent with nothing flashy. You don’t need to prove anything; you’re simply enjoying your own life, focused on your goals. In reality, between this and the original AdG, people passing by won’t notice the difference. Often, even you won’t detect the difference once it has dried. By the way, this has better performance than the original AdG, which lasts a mere breath. It’s worth keeping as a wardrobe staple.
A very citrusy and marine fragrance, perfect for daily use with a pleasant scent that never fails and is liked by everyone.
An exquisite fresh perfume upon first spray; as time passes, its lemon and jasmine notes remain. I find its halo similar to Profumo, although Lisboa has a soapy touch. Its projection in the first few minutes is good but fades, and its longevity on skin doesn’t disappoint: I assure you it lasts longer than Profumo. My father let me try Profumo; I sprayed it twice and after 40 minutes or an hour, I couldn’t smell anything. In contrast, I can still smell Lisboa for a couple of hours. For its price, I recommend it 100% if you’re looking for something fresh and don’t want to spend too much.
I’ll keep it simple: it smells like a lemon leaf, as if someone put a whole lemon with its leaf right up to your nose. The surprising thing is the number of compliments I received; everyone thought I was wearing Perry Ellis 360 Red, so it’s more similar to that or Paris Hilton’s Just Me. It’s true it can remind you of ADG, but Lisboa is less sweet and has a spicier scent. The longevity surprised me, lasting almost the whole day. For the price, I’d definitely recommend it for young people, from 17 to 30 years old without any issue. It’s for informal and casual use, perhaps a semi-formal date or a weekend in the office.
Acqua di Gio has been my signature for years; I know its DNA very well. I contradict the previous opinion: for me, Zara’s Lisbon in the opening, in the purely citrus part, resembles ADG a little less. As it dries down and the heart emerges, very quickly I find it more similar to the original fragrance. I see it as ideal for spring and summer in almost any situation, but more for day than for night. It has no great pretensions or originality, but if you like that type of fragrance, it is a recommended purchase for its very low price. I would recommend it just as other ADG inspirations, knowing that you get what you pay for and that if you wish to wear it for hours you will need to reapply, because one cannot ask the impossible of its performance. However, currently ADG itself doesn’t have great performance either, and here you pay much less. PS: I am 48 years old, I have known ADG since 1998; a professor from my fifth year of university wore it and it stuck in my mind. The performances of those days were not like today’s; it was brutal, it invaded everything. When I smelled it in a shop afterwards and thought ‘this is it!’, since then I have used it as a signature in various stages of my life.
Truth be told, this isn’t a clone but rather an Acqua di Gio-style scent. It is even more watery, akin to a splash cologne. It serves as a refreshing summer cologne for carrying around in circumstances where the heat presses hard, suitable for informal occasions but without pretensions of being a signature or fine fragrance (it performs worse and is more faint than Nautica Voyage). The price is fair for what it offers. It belongs to Zara’s facet of budget perfumes, aimed at all types of public, with the promise of not offending anyone. It doesn’t belong to the segment of the most long-lasting nor does it have a renowned nose. It just barely fulfils its promise, but one shouldn’t expect much.
This is more aquatic than ADG, akin to a blue fragrance. The opening carries a somewhat sweet orange note and feels floral with those laundry-fresh aldehydes. A very commercial design; it lingers a bit on the sofa.
A fragrance that emulates the DNA of ADG, yet with a more floral and unisex vibe rather than fresh and marine. I like it and use it occasionally for personal enjoyment. It’s ideal for spring and summer and for daily wear if you enjoy fresh, floral scents. I bought it at an excellent price in a pack with Zara Seoul.
It settles into its base notes quickly; within minutes it smells fantastic. It doesn’t smell exactly like ADG, but it’s good value for money.
