Kelly Caleche Extrait is one of those rare fragrances where just a hint makes me feel as though I am shedding my body like a butterfly in flight. What exquisite ingredients, what a tribute to fine craftsmanship. An iris, a leather, and a mimosa blended into an ethereal harmony. I rarely touch iris these days, preferring crisp green notes, but here… what beauty! It is perfumes like this, from another world, that drive me to keep testing; with so many others, I would have long shut my nose off. Tell me that iris smells like a pampered rabbit’s carrot and I will agree; tell me that leather smells like a rotting Hermès bag in a puddle and I will say the same. But it does not matter, it is so well made that the scents take over and break all the rules.
