  1. It’s a woody scent with oriental touches, opening with rum and spices but without any distillery or tavern notes; the blend is soft, refined and very airy. The incense and cinnamon evoke a lost paradise in the desert at sunset. As it dries down, it gains chocolatey notes from an undeclared patchouli and amber that suggest hot chocolate without veering into gourmand territory. I don’t detect the ‘drifting wood’ that sounds so exotic, but the longevity and trail are adequate. Of everything I’ve tried from Evody, this is one of the best. Rating: 7.5
