  1. Quite a masculine scent. It’s the only one in the miniature collection that, as a woman, I wouldn’t wear for my own pleasure, as it has a very distinct character, but what a wonderful smell… At first, it’s very fresh and aromatic, with a beautiful lavender, but as it dries down, a spicier note emerges, with the incense and leather darkening the fragrance. It smells like a very realistic suede and is something you want to smell all the time. Endymion is one of those gifts you’d give a partner for a special occasion. Without a doubt.

  2. It hurts to read that this perfume has poor longevity because I absolutely loved it when I smelled it. It smells like a man fresh out of the shower, expensive aftershave, and clean linen sheets. What made me try it was the bottle: I’m a slave to design and can’t hide it. Among all Penhaligon’s transparents, this one attracted me with its dark colour and celestial motifs. It’s extremely versatile, but for me, it has a nocturnal touch… perhaps due to the bottle or the intimacy it evokes. I loved it, but I wish it lasted longer. Still, it’s a pleasure to smell it, and if not for the price, it would almost be worth reapplying every few hours.

It’s a shame that such a wonderful fragrance is so moderate in longevity and projection; if it weren’t for this, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it, but given the price of Penhaligon’s fragrances, they should avoid releasing such weak products. Personally, I’m not willing to perfume myself every two hours. Edit: five years later I still have it. It continues with moderate longevity, but a good shower and a little Endymion before bed is a perfect plan for my personal enjoyment, and I have no intention of giving it up.
