  This is the first Bohoboco Discovery Set fragrance I’ve tried. I initially picked it because it was their debut creation and wrongly assumed it would be the least stimulating in the range. How wrong I was; I absolutely love it. It’s a linear, skin-scent fragrance with a vanilla reminiscent of Zara’s Vanilla French Elegance or the now-discontinued Vanille Noire by Yves Rocher: not excessively sweet, far from gourmand or pastry-like, instead very aromatic with a woody touch. It’s accompanied by a notable black pepper note that gives it an interesting, addictive kick. Compared to Vanilla French Elegance, this is less citrusy and has that pepper note that hooks me. As for Yves Rocher’s Vanille Noire, from memory, it was more woody, dense, deep, and sweet. It has a soft sillage, it’s a skin scent—perhaps its weakness—and lasts about 5-6 hours on my skin. Although it probably won’t be the one I treat myself to this Christmas among the eleven contenders, I’ve loved it and would enjoy it greatly in my collection. Who knows… perhaps it will emerge victorious. Scent 8/10, Longevity 5.5/10, Sillage 6/10, Value for Money 6.5/10, Versatility 7.5/10, Packaging 7/10. Would I buy it again? I didn’t purchase it.
