It took me eight months to write this; I used the excuse that I’m not an expert, just looking for pretty perfumes, and didn’t want to disappoint. But this jewel deserves more. I bought it for the bottle and the box, thinking ‘something’ must be there. I didn’t feel it at first; it arrived simply, but the packaging insisted there was something. I found it! One night I decided to wear it, and it was beautiful. The main scent smells like detergent, I don’t know what it is, which is why I wasn’t scared the first time, but I nearly laughed the second. It brings me an inexplicable joy, it has a spark; that’s the best I can say. I love it for going to bed and delighting in its fragrance before sleep. I love it. I don’t understand its composition or whether it works; I just know it’s my bed companion and I love it for what it is. I no longer force myself to understand it; I love it as it is and for what it provokes. It’s a very sincere love.
