Good evening what a brilliant perfume. Although I know it’s marketed towards women I honestly never get tired of smelling it and I wear it on special occasions. What is true however is that I see the withdrawal of this fragrance as quite regrettable especially since there’s no possibility of finding it anymore. If there were an option to buy it I would as I have a bottle at home; from time to time I remove the metal cap and sniff it until I’m thoroughly intoxicated which is rare for such a penetrating and heady scent that doesn’t overwhelm. I agree with you and the truth is that as a man having a perfume that makes a woman walking past or greeting you ask about what you’re wearing is something to take one’s hat off to those professionals who invented it. Well I won’t go on further and a cordial greeting from Seville. And to anyone who can complain please do because why remove such a good fragrance from the market when we have thousands of others in perfumeries? What a pity. A cordial greeting.

Good evening, what a wonderful perfume. Although I know it’s marketed for women, the truth is I never get tired of smelling it, and I wear it on special occasions. What is true, however, is that being deprived of this fragrance seems very unfair, and there is no way to find it. If there were an option to buy it, I would, as I have a bottle at home and from time to time remove the metal cap and sniff it until I’m exhausted, which is odd because it is a penetrating and intoxicating fragrance that doesn’t overwhelm; that’s very good. I agree with you, and the truth is that as a man, having a perfume that makes a woman walking past or greeting you ask about the scent you’re wearing, that is something to take one’s hat off to those professionals who invented it. Well, I won’t say any more and send a cordial greeting from Seville. And to anyone who can complain, please complain about why such a good fragrance is being withdrawn from the market when we have thousands of others in perfumeries; what a pity. A cordial greeting.

I had read about this fragrance before but never imagined it could be this good. It’s my first L’Occitane perfume and it doesn’t disappoint. It’s a very nice gourmand and quite potent. It opens with a vanilla scent that is clean without being soapy; perhaps the labdanum gives it that crispness. Soon after, a sweet, foamy cream note emerges, very pleasant and warm, before settling into a dry-down remarkably similar to Dior Homme Intense. The dry-down is a delicious powdered amber-chocolate, not cloying at all, very agreeable and long-lasting. I think it works well for autumn and winter, but also in spring if you don’t overapply. The bottle is beautiful, retaining a vintage style and feels slightly heavy. I recommend this fragrance to those who enjoy boozy gourmand scents.
