Violets and lavender wrapped in amber with a vanilla base; projects seriousness but with a rich touch.

  2. We’re almost the only ones left with this great men’s fragrance. I don’t know why they stopped making it; it’s distinct and superior to the original Captain, a more modern version. You can tell it’s an eau de parfum: excellent trail and longevity. It’s fresh but not light, barbershop style yet far more complex, balanced, and well-executed. The bottle deserves to be kept. If you come across it and like bergamot, ginger, violets, lavender, amber wood, and tonka, don’t hesitate to buy it. These are the declared notes listed by the manufacturer on the box.
