Selene
Sweet and distinguished, with floral notes touched by orientals. Like with Parfum Sacré, love was at first sight: I know I’ll get along well with Bellodgia always. Caron is an old house whose scents transport you to the past. If Parfum Sacré is the passionate and erotic one with influences from the Middle East, Bellodgia is the refined, artistic, and European choice. Clove takes centre stage again, but here it works more with the carnation than the rose. There’s also a prominent vanilla-incense note that gives it that unique touch. As time passes, the incense fades and the clove yields to the carnation and vanilla, which become more noticeable. It has very good longevity. Another triumph from Caron.
