Chic and pleasant, it smells clean and rich. It’s not a beast mode; although I haven’t tested it extensively, it lasts 4 hours on skin and up to 10 or 12 hours on clothes. I mainly use it at home because it’s rich and pleasant, so don’t expect any projection here. 6/10
A decent and affordable perfume with a simple but effective scent. The synthetic opening is noticeable, though most fragrances nowadays have it. Initially, the bergamot stands out with the sweetness of pineapple and cardamomo; as it dries down, it becomes a bit powdery, softening the sharp citrus and spicy notes. I detect apple, cardamomo, and hazelnuts. It offers nothing new, but has moderate performance: 4-5 hours on skin, weak projection and no trail, yet it lingers on clothes for up to 12 hours. Given the low price, it can’t be faulted; it’s excellent for the office as it’s subtle and clean, but not recommended for extreme heat where performance drops significantly.
“Fugere Moderno”. I see it as an all-year-round fragrance suitable for the office and daytime, not for nights or dates. It won’t offend anyone, but it’s neither memorable nor distinctive. Projection and longevity are slightly above average. The synthetic opening (bergamot hits hard) improves as it dries down, becoming more powdery. As it settles, it reminded me of Ralph’s Club. If it fits a good price (I paid $14), it’s a good everyday complement if your collection is dominated by heavy scents.
