It’s an olfactory luxury, but it vanishes in the blink of an eye. I agree with everyone: it’s a shame because I simply adore the scent.
If you’re looking to satisfy your curiosity about Baccarat, this smells niche, with amber and metallic notes. The problem is you barely notice it, and if you apply too much, it gives you a headache. Suitable only for testing; it has no place in your daily life or for elegant events. It’s not romantic, but rather a failed attempt at a ‘boss’ vibe due to its poor longevity. I own In The Stars, and they share a soul: Seeing Rouge is more sophisticated and completely non-sweet, but it fades quickly; In The Stars lasts longer and is more versatile, though much sweeter thanks to that sugar note.
The dupe of Baccarat everyone was waiting for: it smells very similar, but the longevity is terrible, lasting not even an hour, with no sillage, just clinging to the skin.
