  1. What a fresh, crisp, and wonderful scent. When I wear it, I always convey cleanliness and seriousness without losing my joviality. Its only Achilles’ heel is longevity, but everything else is pure gold.

  2. If you decide to try the original tester, you’ll see the sticker details the notes: top of pink pepper and star anise, heart of sandalwood and cedar, and base of amber and musk. The scent is clean, crisp, and has a watery touch, though it doesn’t use calone; instead, it relies on woods and musk as the label states. It’s relaxing, nothing invasive, and brings to mind a crisp morning or a spotless office.

  3. Don’t fall for the hype trap. Although it can be found at a good price, it’s rich but… it doesn’t last at all. It’s a gym fragrance or for a quick trip to the supermarket and that’s it. There are many better options in my opinion.

It’s a very pleasant, simple, fresh, and clean fragrance. Ideal for wearing with a well-ironed white shirt in summer or at the office. It’s not a bomb, but it delivers and is well-liked. Besides, it reminds me of my dad; it’s a scent he would have worn without hesitation. It lifts the mood, and you can detect the bamboo and ginger without them being aggressive; everything is very soft. Highly recommended; I’m already thinking of buying it again as the bottle is running low.

This was my second good perfume, in this case an EDT. It smells rich, clean, and pleasant; neutral but formal with a good vibe, something I could wear every day. It’s excellent, but the downside is longevity: it lasts very little, I don’t feel the scent, and it’s not due to olfactory fatigue; it stays too close to the skin. It is rich and your partner will enjoy it, but it’s not for receiving compliments or for ‘feeling like you smell’. If it’s on offer for 20k or less, I wouldn’t pay more.

  6. I feel love and hate for this fragrance. I came for the reviews and upon trying it, I loved it instantly, but it’s a pity its performance is so poor; in summer it doesn’t last half an hour and I have to apply more than 15 sprays for anything to remain. I’m not interested in it being a beast mode, but at least it should last a couple of hours on the skin. However, it is one of the perfumes that cannot be missing in any collection.

One of my first perfumes in the collection, which I got from Andrés Perfuman. Although it’s not as long-lasting, I understood it works for what it’s made for. A rich, crisp, and attractive aroma; my wife loves it.

Clean, fresh, and charming. Its weak point is longevity, but it’s a recommended fragrance to buy blind because it’s easy to like. Although it has a resemblance to Versace Eros Fresh, this one has a more sophisticated aroma.

My first perfume since I became interested in perfumery. Crisp, fresh, light, and easy-to-please aroma; it doesn’t leave you looking bad. I see it as youthful but it also suits the office; it doesn’t bother anyone and can earn you good compliments. The weak point is longevity and sillage: it lasts about 3 or 4 hours, at most 5, but very close to the skin and projecting only for the first two hours. To conclude: if you’re looking for something everyone will like, at a good price, that won’t bother anyone and is suitable for informal situations, this is a great option.

To be honest, I use it for the gym or school, but it’s also great for everyday wear and the office. It smells good and does its job.

  11. I was gifted a 75ml tester for my birthday and finally took the chance to try it after years. The aroma is delicious, a gem, the quality is very good, and the bottle matches the cap perfectly. The only drawback is longevity, but as the price is economical for this quality, you just reapply and that’s it. It’s fresh and summery; those who smell it like it because it’s very pleasant. In my case, it lasts about 4 hours, with one hour being quite strong. The resemblance to Natura Urbe isn’t as great as they say; there is a style and an air, but they aren’t the same. Both have medium/low performance, and nowadays with how expensive Natura is and the reforms they’re discussing, I think Montblanc is the better choice.

I have a soft spot for it because my grandmother gave it to me. It smells wonderful, but the only drawback is the longevity, which is ridiculously short, about two hours. The hype doesn’t do it justice.

  13. I picked up a 2ml decant for $5, my second try of Montblanc, and now I get the hype. It’s ideal for sunny days; the bamboo opening makes it unique in my collection and adds points. On skin, the bamboo with cedar is well-balanced. It’s super easy to wear, smells like Clinique Happy on clothes, and I’d buy it in a bottle. Rating: 7.7/10.

  14. I’ve received many compliments, but longevity isn’t its strong suit. I don’t favour such citrusy openings, so I stopped using it, but if you love citrus, you’ll adore it. You just need to reapply, and for the price, it’s excellent.

  15. For me, Starwalker is one of the best perfumes for extreme heat. It’s simple, clean, and elegant, yet in a friendly, fresh way that everyone likes, for any age or occasion. It feels like smelling freshly showered, taken to the extreme. If you want to be perceived as impeccable, this is the one. My favourite fresh scent.

  16. I’m not sure if I have basic tastes, but this fragrance seemed very interesting and different from what I used to wear. I wore it as a daily; I think it’s the bamboo note in the opening that hooked me, that fresh and clean scent that many have but this one stands out. It’s simple and fresh, well-executed. Performance is another matter: it projects well for the first 2-3 hours and then fades. For the price, I think it’s fair; you can reapply. I put it aside months ago, but I plan to return next summer.

It’s good, no need to overthink it. Perfect for the office: a clean, masculine, professional scent that no one dislikes. Worth having. I might recommend it as a signature scent given the price.

A while ago I trashed this fragrance in another review that I won’t delete, because that one showed the errors of judging too quickly. I had used less than half a bottle and was unfair. Finishing the bottle today, my perception has changed. Longevity: it’s true it has poor staying power and projects intimately, something I now value more. Scent: citrus, woody, fresh, and clean. Brief moments of bright, refined citrus (hard to get at this price), then soft, pleasant woods until the end in about three hours. It’s a simple, flat, gentle, and agreeable scent, nothing shouty. That simplicity gives it a charm of a serene and soft person. For this price, I doubt there’s a better option for small offices in spring and summer. The poor performance is relative: 1) it’s citrus-woody for warm weather, none last long; 2) the price is low, you can’t expect more; 3) subjective assessment: I’ve learned to appreciate fragrances with less longevity and projection because in crowded spaces they are friendly and considerate, leaving a good impression. Plus, on specific days it allows me to change scents by noon. For those with large collections, it’s sensational to enjoy several scents in a day. Here is my reconciliation with this good fragrance.

  19. Today I tried Versace Eros Homme and it reminded me a lot of the base of this one. Although Starwalker has more pepper and wood. It’s a clean, people-pleasing perfume. It doesn’t project or last long.

  20. After three months, the perfume has revealed new facets to me. It starts with a fresh, blue-green air, where bamboo plays a key role. Then it turns woody, and as it dries, it smells clean, almost talcum-like; I suppose this is due to the musk, which I didn’t notice before but do now, likely because of the maceration. Unfortunately, the longevity and projection are short. Only my girlfriend notices it, as she gets closer. With 6 sprays (2 on wrists, 2 on clothes), it lasts about 4 hours before fading to skin scent. It’s not a beast mode fragrance, but it can be detected at a couple of metres. It depends on skin pH. It’s great for starting out, I love it, and at $30, it’s a gem.

  21. Starwalker by Montblanc screams tidiness and cleanliness, with a touch of sweet lavender. It’s for ‘good boys’, young people, and those with a formal, classic style. My issue is that its contained energy makes me feel anxious. 😂 Perhaps I’m not a ‘good boy’, but it definitely isn’t for me. Cheers.

A fragrance jewel, one of my favourites for everyday wear or the gym. The scent is rich and easy to enjoy, making you feel fresh and clean. I’ve always heard that some fragrances make you feel freshly showered and didn’t understand until I tried this, and it’s exactly that. My wife always likes it when I wear it. Although it’s not the best in longevity, it doesn’t hurt to reapply given the price. I don’t think it’s the one that gets the most compliments, but honestly, it doesn’t matter; I enjoy its scent on me.

  23. The scent is spectacular and has that soapy base that I enjoy. It’s fine for everyday wear, but in warm or temperate climates, its performance is terrible; it lasts very little. Perhaps it’s worth it in the cold, although it smells like a ‘blue’ fragrance and feels more like a summer scent. I don’t see any problems with wearing it in the cold, but longevity is the key.

  24. It smells clean, with a soapy touch and a citrus base. However, its performance is terrible: in summer, it evaporates immediately and doesn’t even last an hour. The truth is, it’s not worth it, no matter how much you apply.

  25. I tried it once and liked it. I bought it for work, knowing it didn’t last long, but since I work half-days, it was sufficient. Although the opening is rich, it lasts a mere breath and over time becomes too talcum-like, which I don’t enjoy and hasn’t generated positive comments. It has no trail or projection, but it’s fine for the office. I’m not sure if it’s due to the batch, but I wouldn’t buy it again; in Argentina, it’s not that economical. I give it a 6/10.

  26. Although it has a lot of hate regarding its longevity, on my husband it lasts 6 hours, and applying it to clothes is a marvel: a masculine, refined, and effervescent scent that gives you a boost after a shower. It saves you for any occasion. I imagine some skin pHs don’t retain it, but if you don’t want to overwhelm people, it’s a must-have all-rounder. Carry a decant in your pocket and reapply. We paid the price of a Versace Eau Fraîche and get the same performance; by the way, both are delicious.

Generic in a good sense: it won’t turn heads, but you’ll smell very pleasant. It’s ideal for school, the office, the gym, or at home. It lasts long enough for its composition and price, but don’t expect high projection. It was very hyped, and I think it’s not worth the hype, but it’s not bad. It’s excellent if you’re looking for a serene aroma.

Bought blind after seeing recommendations on YouTube, it has a pleasant scent but isn’t worth the purchase. Its longevity is poor; sometimes you don’t even feel like you’re wearing perfume an hour after applying it. For a little more money, there are much better options.

A fragrance that offers very good quality for the price. The aroma is somewhat mature, sweeter and mineral, almost metallic, and very effervescent. Very good. Longevity is scarce on my skin: I can’t detect it after 3 hours, with a moderate projection of 1 hour. It’s very versatile; I’d even use it in autumn if it’s not too cold. I gifted it to my dad, as I feel it suits his style better and he’ll enjoy it more than I will.

  30. Personally, I love it… it’s a striking aroma, especially in the office surrounded by people who only know Perry Ellis or Nautica Voyage. It doesn’t last long… what a pity, but given the cost, it’s very good and just requires reapplication. I understand it’s discontinued, so if you see it, buy a couple of bottles.
