About Season One
Season One by Benjamin Vicuña: A Woody Aromatic Scent for the Modern Man
Benjamin Vicuña, known for his versatile style, launched his debut fragrance, Season One, in 2021. This creation offers a fresh and elegant blend within the woody aromatic family, crafted for the man who wishes to stand out without being overpowering.
The olfactory pyramid of Season One begins with a lively top of fennel, southernwood, and anise, providing a herbaceous and mildly spicy opening. These initial accords evoke an immediate freshness, almost Mediterranean in character, drawing you closer.
This fragrance targets men between 25 and 45 who appreciate fresh yet substantial scents, looking for a daily signature with personality. It is ideal for those who love herbal and woody notes without overwhelming intensity.
Season One is a reliable choice for the man seeking a distinctive yet unpretentious fragrance. Its development is pleasing, transitioning from a crisp opening to a warm base, and its performance is commendable. A great introduction to niche perfumery with an accessible edge.

It was a present from a bloke who knows nothing about perfume. When I smelt it, I thought it was very common, in the sense that I had smelt it before. I spent three months wondering what it could be, and then the penny dropped: it’s similar to 212 VIP Black, but with a quicker drydown. It’s a sweet, spicy, fruity scent.
