Hot Blossom by Plaisance: A Fresh Floral-Fruity Scent for Women

Hot Blossom is a women's fragrance by Plaisance, sitting comfortably in the floral-fruity olfactory family. Its name suggests warmth and bloom, but the composition brings together juicy notes, a floral heart and a woody finish.

It starts with a lively burst of fruit and citrus, drifts into a rose-and-jasmine core, and ends on a soft, appley base.

The opening pairs Damascus plum with grapefruit and blackcurrant, creating a juicy, slightly sharp introduction with a green, almost berried freshness.

At the heart, rose, lily of the valley and jasmine form an elegant white-floral bouquet. The rose lends substance, the jasmine brings a hint of warmth, and the lily of the valley adds a delicate, clean freshness.

Base notes of red apple and woods are a clever choice: the apple keeps things fruity and playful, while the woody notes give the scent a steady, polished foundation.

Accords include fruity, white floral, fresh, woody, sweet, green, citrus and aromatic. The overall impression is well-mannered and feminine, with just enough presence for everyday wear.

Based on a modest number of ratings, it currently averages 3.33 out of 5, which feels about right for a likeable but uncomplex fragrance.

Hot Blossom is for women who like their florals bright and fruity, with a gentle sweet edge. It's a great choice for daytime and for spring or summer, particularly if you prefer perfumes that feel comfortable rather than overpowering.

All in all, Hot Blossom by Plaisance is an appealing, easy-going floral-fruity that delivers exactly what its name promises: a warm, blossom-led scent with a fruity shine. It won't challenge your assumptions, but it will certainly please anyone who wants a simple, elegant fragrance.

  1. You can really smell the grapefruit, personally I don’t like it because it doesn’t suit me, but it’s not an unpleasant fragrance, you can really notice the grapefruit and also a floral note, it lasts about 5-6 hours.

Floral-fruity with a clear clean feeling like shampoo, although in this version I feel that the fruits predominate over the flowers. Its resemblance to Be Delicious Fresh Blossom by DKNY is undeniable, I’d say it’s around 70-80%. The main difference I notice is that the DKNY one has a stronger personal care product feeling, as if the musk and flowers were a bit more present, especially the jasmine, which reinforces that characteristic clean scent (I remember it well because I just finished a bottle a few months ago that I had for years). In contrast, in this version of Plaisance, the fruity notes stand out more. I perceive a slightly bitter grapefruit, closer to the peel than the juice, along with a very evident apricot, the sensation of biting into a juicy green apple, and a fresh, youthful rose, far from that image of intense rose perfumes that many people associate with perfumes for older people. On my skin, the woody base note stands out a lot and accompanies the whole well without becoming the protagonist. This type of fruity-floral fragrance is a wildcard for me. They are cheerful, feminine, pleasant, and hard to find detractors. They give a clean feeling without being overly citrusy or reminding of laundry detergent, so they work very well for everyday wear. I would mainly wear them during the day and in temperate or warm climates. I don’t see it as a fragrance for a special occasion or an important night out. The longevity seems good to me. On my skin it lasts between 3 and 5 hours, while on clothes it lasts much longer. As I always say, perfumes tend to last little on me, so I always test both on skin and fabric and, curiously, Plaisance is the Chilean brand that has given me the best performance. You can tell it aims to convey the feeling of a designer perfume and, in my opinion, it achieves it. Its price also plays in its favour, it’s around 14 dollars and can often be found on sale for about 10. I wouldn’t say Hot Blossom smells exactly the same, but it does evoke the same feeling I had when as a child I smelled sweet pea flowers in my grandmother’s garden: a nice scent, between fruits and flowers, on a sunny morning. More than reminding me of a perfume, it reminds me of a beautiful moment, and that makes me enjoy it even more.
