Peace by Hotphoria is 95% similar to Be Delicious and, just like the DKNY perfume, it’s very pleasant and massively likeable. It’s one of those perfumes that most people love. Maybe for some it’s not our favorite, but it’s still greatly enjoyed for its freshness, cheerfulness and lightness. It smells like fresh apple shampoo with citrus, balanced by a slightly sweet and creamy base. But I’m not talking about a milky cream or gourmand, but rather that creamy feeling of clean and fresh body care products. It lasts quite a while considering it’s a supermarket perfume and costs about 13 dollars. Also, it doesn’t feel synthetic or plastic. In fact, that sometimes happens to me with some Arabian inspirations, where they add notes like rose but it ends up smelling like a withered rose or a kind of incense. That doesn’t happen here: it feels much closer to a designer perfume. The longevity on skin with projection is about 2-3 hours; then it stays closer to the skin for up to about 5 hours, and on clothes easily 7 hours. Not bad considering the price and the 80 ml. Also, it’s one of those perfumes you reapply just for fun haha. I find it perfect for summer days, daily use, the beach if you want something refreshing and not the typical sweet coconut beach scent, activities like the gym (it’s actually nice to smell something like that in a gym full of sweaty people 😭), enclosed spaces, or casual daytime outings. And if you like lighter scents because you can’t stand dense or extremely sweet gourmands, it can even work well at night. That depends more on personal taste.
