Hotphoria Power by Plaisance: A Juicy, Floral-Fruity Unisex Delight

Hotphoria Power by Plaisance is a vibrant scent that marries the crispness of fruit with the sophistication of florals. Crafted for both men and women, this unisex creation promises a versatile and captivating fragrance journey.

Upon the very first spritz, the perfume reveals a succulent and effervescent opening, where the sweetness of blackcurrant, peach, and pear immediately enchants the senses, drawing you into its evolving story.

The opening notes are anchored by blackcurrant, offering a tart and subtly wild facet, beautifully offset by the plush sweetness of peach and the crisp, aquatic feel of pear. This introductory trio delivers an instant, refreshing fruity burst.

In the heart, the fragrance blossoms into a refined and delicate floral arrangement. Peony contributes a romantic, softly powdery nuance, magnolia brings a distinctive creamy floral depth, and freesia adds a bright, airy lift that tempers the initial fruitiness.

The dry-down of Hotphoria Power settles upon a woody and indulgent base. Vanilla imparts a comforting, sugary warmth, sandalwood provides a silky, creamy texture, and cedar adds a clean, polished structure, ensuring a lasting and elegant sillage.

The scent's accords are superbly balanced, encompassing floral, fruity, fresh, woody, aromatic, soft spicy, green, vanilla, powdery, and sweet facets. This multifaceted profile makes it suitable for daily wear, yet refined enough for special evenings when a memorable presence is desired.

Earning a flawless 5.0 out of 5.0 rating based on 3 reviews, Hotphoria Power stands out as a highly rewarding addition to the Plaisance range, celebrated for its effortless wearability and broad, cross-gender charm.

This fragrance is perfect for those who appreciate succulent fruit notes harmonised with gentle florals and a creamy, woody undertone. It suits men and women looking for a flexible, elegant perfume with a sweet edge that remains tasteful and never overpowering.

Hotphoria Power is a true olfactory treasure from Plaisance, masterfully blending the vitality of fruits with the grace of flowers. Its smooth evolution and comforting foundation render it a dependable and delightful choice for every occasion, firmly establishing it as a staple for lovers of unisex scents.

It’s great that the Chilean brand Plaisance has been added to Fragrantica, because this particular Hotphoria line is excellent. Of the three, my favourite is Power (the best from the Plaisance brand and, for me, the best low-cost chemist perfume). It smells clean, like a fruity shampoo: an opening of red fruits, like tart berries with a hint of strawberry and a citrus note that reminds me of pink passion fruit, accompanied by flowers in the background. They are aquatic, fresh and creamy flowers that form a very beautiful bouquet, where peony and orchid especially stand out. Everything is supported by a clean musk and a vanilla in just the right amount, which doesn’t overpower the other notes but provides the necessary sweet touch to balance the acidity of the fruits. I have many perfumes, too many even, and normally they last me for years because I don’t manage to empty the bottles quickly. But this one I used up in a couple of months during an intense summer, because it’s hugely enjoyable in extreme heat climates. It never bores or annoys; it feels energising thanks to the tart fruits, but without falling into the typical citrus perfume that disappears after half an hour. The quality of the notes and the longevity are ridiculous considering the price (about 13 dollars). On clothes it lasts a lot, and on skin a bit less, although to be honest, I often still perceived it and would reapply just to enjoy and intensify the scent. It doesn’t feel artificial and doesn’t smell like the typical cheap supermarket perfume (because it is). It’s a fragrance that screams energy and youth, even worn by an older person, but without feeling adolescent or childish. It has a feminine and flirtatious side that, without relying on a typical sweetness, invites you to come closer and enjoy that beautiful set of tart and juicy fruits. It’s also one of the perfumes I get the most compliments on, from friends to strangers on the street. I hope the brand never discontinues it. And yes, I confirm it’s a dupe of Bombshell by V.S., and it has 90% similarity to Orchid by Zara, but Power lasts much longer than the Zara one.
