Alexandra by LAYR arrived in 2025 as a fragrance for women and men. Conceived as a unisex creation, it brings together citrus brightness, spice and a mellow, warming base.
It unfolds from fresh to fondant: an energetic opening gives way to a floral-gourmand heart, resting upon amber, tonka bean and moss.
Opening notes are bergamot, saffron, clove and fruits. Bergamot lends clarity, saffron a dry spiced quality, clove a sharper warmth, while the fruit accord rounds the edges.
The heart combines rose, caramel, heliotrope and incense. Heliotrope softens the rose to a powdery veil, caramel adds a creamy sweetness, and incense lends gentle resinous depth.
Underneath lie tonka bean, amber, musk and moss. The tonka bean offers vanilla-almond sweetness, amber a golden warmth, musk a clean softness, and moss a subtle green-earth counterpoint.
