Ginger, violet and pear form the opening, osmanthus, rose, geranium and lily of the valley shape the heart, and Indonesian patchouli leaves, amber, incense, leather and musk form the base.
The top is fresh-spiced and neat. Ginger enlivens, pear lends gentle juiciness, and violet softens the entry with a powdery touch.
At the centre, the florals feel well drawn. Osmanthus offers its honeyed, apricot-like character, rose deepens it, geranium adds green aromatics, and lily of the valley brings clarity.
