Before Petrichor by LAYR is a citrus aromatic scent for men and women, introduced in 2024. It evokes the hush beforehand, when the breeze sharpens and everything smells greener before wet earth appears.
Light-filled and streamlined, it travels from a lively herbal-citrus lift to a soft floral middle and a calm, earthy close. The impression is tidy, current and effortlessly wearable.
At the top, basil, spearmint, neroli, lemon, petit grain, mandarin and watermelon meet. The result is vibrant and thirst-quenching, with peel-like brightness, garden herbs and a sheer aquatic hint.
The middle features cyclamen, white blossoms, orange blossom, rose, cedar foliage and frankincense. Orange blossom and rose lend a clear floral light, edged by leafy green notes and a measured resinous warmth.
Underneath, vetiver, musk, frankincense and moss provide composure. Vetiver and moss suggest damp greenery, musk lends a soft finish, and olibanum leaves a faint ambery warmth.
The character balances spiced freshness, green aromatics, white florals and rose highlights against a musky, mossy foundation. There is no sugary weight here, only definition: citrus zest, herbs, pale petals and mellow woods.
