Chronic Tonic by LAYR is a unisex fragrance introduced in 2023, shaped by the pull between freshness and warmth.
It sets a herbal, spiced opening against an expansive floral centre, grounded by amber, timber woods and leather.
At the top are cinnamon, grapefruit, raspberry, cypress, thyme and rosemary. The effect is brisk and green, with citrus brightness and a distinctly aromatic character.
The middle brings lactones, iris, lily of the valley, rose, violet and floral notes, with hints of saffron and mandarin. Lactones lend a smooth, creamy touch, while iris and violet add a soft powdery veil.
The foundation rests on musk, moss, vanilla and amber, patchouli and vetiver, leather, sandalwood and frankincense olibanum. The ambery, woody, leathery and smoky accords are most evident here, alongside a subtle animalic nuance.
