Devised by James Heeley, the composition contrasts a radiant fruity-floral start with a mellow woody-amber close.
Up top are osmanthus, citrus and peach. Velvety and faintly apricot-like, the osmanthus is freshened by citrus brightness, with peach lending a light, succulent sweetness.
The middle pairs Iris Pallida with olibanum incense. The iris offers a tidy powdery elegance, while the olibanum contributes luminous resin and a whisper of smoke.
Underneath lie leather, cedar, sandalwood and amber. Here the leather feels burnished and pliable — closer to a glove than a biker jacket — framed by arid cedar and creamy sandalwood.
Amber lends a cosy, rounded warmth, allowing ambery, leathery, animalic, warm spicy, fresh spicy and smoky nuances to emerge in careful proportion.
