UNDER THE PERGOLA's Cheers is a fruity-floral fragrance for all, released in 2024. The nose behind it is Sian Lee.
Sparkling wine, lemon, lime and apple lead the way, followed by grape, pear, peach, jasmine, lily of the valley and white wine, on a base of musk, woody notes and white musk.
On first spray the impression is effervescent. The sparkling-wine accord lifts the citrus and green lime, while apple keeps the top juicy and light rather than sharp.
Through the middle the fruit gains flesh. Grape, pear and peach lend orchard-like sweetness, jasmine and lily of the valley bring a neat white-floral clarity, and white wine echoes the celebratory idea.
Towards the base the texture softens. Musk and white musk settle into a gentle, faintly powdery veil, supported by restrained woods and the merest animalic warmth.
The signature is predominantly white floral with musk, floral and powdery in feel. Worn by any gender, it is a daytime scent at heart, well placed in spring and summer and for convivial gatherings.
It should suit women and men who favour light, cheerful floral-fruity scents for everyday wear and relaxed occasions in the open air.
