MOKSEO by UNDER THE PERGOLA is a Woody Floral Musk creation for women and men, introduced in 2023 by perfumer Sian Lee.
Lime, bergamot, green tea and osmanthus form the opening, followed by a heart of plum blossom, jasmine and osmanthus over a base of mate, sandalwood, white musk and benzoin.
At first it is luminous and leafy. Bergamot and lime provide a sparkling citrus lift, green tea lends an infused, slightly herbaceous clarity, and osmanthus softens the edges with its apricot character.
The centre remains delicate. Plum blossom offers a fine, powdery sweetness, jasmine defines the white floral element with restraint, and a second appearance of osmanthus keeps the transition seamless.
The drydown favours warmth and texture. Mate contributes a muted green bitterness, sandalwood brings a rounded creaminess, and white musk creates a laundered, talc-like softness.
Benzoin adds the final balsamic layer with a whisper of vanilla, echoing the amber and gently spiced undertones. The overall impression links florals, woods, musk and resinous warmth.
