About SSWAEGI
SSWAEGI by UNDER THE PERGOLA: An Aromatic Green Study
Created by nose Sian Lee and introduced in 2023, SSWAEGI by UNDER THE PERGOLA sits in the Aromatic Green family. It is offered for both Men and Women.
Expect a botanical, airy character overall — green and aromatic with a cool spiced freshness, touched by yellow florals and pale amber.
At the top are peppermint, spearmint, violet leaves and bergamot. The mint pairing is brisk and cooling, bergamot lends clarity, and violet leaf gives definition.
Moving on, the middle brings may chang, linden blossom, violet and basil. Linden blossom feels luminous, violet softens the texture, whilst basil reinforces the herbaceous thread.
The foundation comprises orange blossom, berries, white musk and white amber. Together they mellow the greenery into a neat, skin-close finish.
In terms of accords, fresh, green and aromatic take precedence, with fresh-spicy lift alongside. Yellow floral and amber notes provide gentle cohesion.
As a unisex creation it holds a middle course, neither overly sweet nor austere. Sian Lee’s approach remains legible: precise, green-centred and uncluttered.
To appeal to devotees of verdant, herbal perfumery — mint, violet leaf, basil — and to those seeking a smart, fresh unisex option.
SSWAEGI closes as it begins: a clear-cut aromatic green, eased towards orange blossom, white musk and white amber.
