Amman: Sunlit Citrus Settling into Tea, Wood and Olibanum

From Jordan Spirit, Amman is a Citrus Aromatic for men launched in 2026 and created by Jordi Fernández. Fresh Mediterranean citrus leads, followed by spice and a restrained woody-incense trail.

Calabrian bergamot, Sicilian orange and citron open the scent. It is an airy, precise beginning, clearly intended for daytime.

At first the impression is zesty and green. The citron lends a bitter-green snap, while the Calabrian bergamot and Sicilian orange soften it with juiciness and light. Sweetness stays well in the background.

In the middle, Tunisian neroli preserves that clarity with a clean white-floral touch. Nigerian ginger enlivens the blend, and Ceylon cinnamon adds gentle, dry heat rather than richness.

The base then takes a more reflective turn. Chinese black tea introduces smoke and a tea-like dryness that calms the top notes. Ambroxan, guaiac wood and olibanum incense form an amber-woody frame around it.

What characterises Amman is this shift from brightness to shade. Fresh, green and citrus accords are set against amber, timbered and warm-spiced tones, cinnamon threading discreetly throughout.

The architecture feels deliberate: vivid opening, aromatic core, muted finish. A take on Mediterranean freshness that closes with composure.

It should appeal to those who enjoy a fresh masculine citrus with substance. Especially fitting for admirers of neroli, ginger and a whisper of cinnamon, grounded in tea, guaiac and incense.

Amman travels from Calabrian and Sicilian brightness towards black tea and olibanum. Jordi Fernández offers Jordan Spirit a scent poised between morning light and evening stillness.
