Huangshan: Peak Love's Misty Highland Unisex Perfume
Peak Love has unveiled Huangshan, a scent for men and women released in 2026 inspired by China's celebrated mountain of the same name.
Devised by perfumer David Chieze, it weaves pine needles, oolong tea and light woods into a fresh, tranquil impression.
At the start, pine needles, bergamot and mandarin meet hyssop, oolong tea, Sichuan pepper and pink pepper. Verdant, citrus-led and faintly piquant, it recalls crisp air high up.
At its centre, magnolia and rose are handled with transparency, framed by ginger, cardamom and nutmeg. Ozonic notes alongside Chinese cedar preserve a bright, open feel.
The dry-down settles on sandalwood, vetiver, musk and ambergris. The smoothness of sandalwood joins a laundered musk quality that extends the sense of a gentle breeze.
In character it is woody and aromatic, showing fresh-spiced and citrus aspects, floral and rose highlights, a mellow warm spiciness and a powdery, musky, ozonic softness.
It will suit those who favour fresh woody unisex perfumes with delicate spices, weightless blossoms and a soft sandalwood and musk foundation, ideal for daily wear.
