To me, the original Sauvage is too intense and after a while it gets boring, which is why I never bought it, although I tried several versions (the Elixir doesn’t count, I do own that and I love it). With this Faris, there are no issues; it is very well balanced despite sharing the same DNA. Very good.

It opens strong with a blend of lavender, apple, and juniper berries. Then it settles into a peculiar, pleasant, fresh scent with character and strength; very similar to Dior’s Sauvage.

An interesting proposal from this brand, different from their usual oriental perfumes. It is a fougère with citrus, lavender, and tonka bean, with a certain air of Sauvage, but it is not outdated; it smells current and pleasant for everyone. Citrus that lasts, lavender and juniper that provide freshness, followed by rose-jasmine and spices that only nuance without imposing. A base of sandalwood, tonka bean, and amber. From my nose, it is for spring/summer, daytime due to its brightness, rather masculine as it is a fougère, but anyone can wear it. Lasts a minimum of 8 hours, with good projection that fades slowly to the skin. A good perfume with good performance, but it resembles many others.

I wasn’t even aware of this brand; I thought it was another of the Arab houses making copies. It is simply delicious. If you like the vibe of SMW or Baie 19, those ozonic fragrances with berries and very clean scents, here they add Faris floral touches. It’s striking, easy to wear, and earns plenty of compliments, with high longevity and sillage.
The resemblance to Sauvage Eau de Parfum is undeniable. The Dior version has sparkling, spicy nuances that never seem to end. Faris, however, boasts superior aromatic qualities with more floral and creamy notes, making it better and more wearable. It opens with citrus, lavender and apple, all resting on a calm amber, rose and fine vetiver base. I like it, but it doesn’t drive me crazy enough to justify the price.
